and don't feel bladeing is inadequate, i can't blade for shite and am very impressed with what bladers and skaters do. Besides, everyone needs a sport, even bog snorkling is better than sitting 24/7 infront of your monitor

I BMX. I used to skate since I was around 14/15. I'm 27 now and no, I dont do it to make me feel younger. Its a mode of transport for me with the ablity to have some fun on the ramps on the weekend. I maintain by bike, can fix it whenever I need to and it costs me absolutely fuck all in parking, tax, insurance and MOT. Its excersise, its not something that requires you to have lessons in and you dont have to learn every trick in the book. It gets me out the house and, surprisigly, I have more rights on the road than a motorist (look it up its true). Oh and it makes you more appealing to the opposite sex (maybe).

If anyone tells you otherwise then they're either:

a) gay
b) from essex
c) a barcadi breezer drinker
d) a trance listener
e) a kev
f) a wanker
g) all of the above

Myself I'm a blader, and today during my attempt at a 360 I came down on my elbow, and elbow that had been previously grazed by a ballsed up landing, so right now using the mouse is quite difficult as it is painful to bend my arm.

What both myself and the Right Honourable Gentleman for falling over and knackering his elbow are trying say is that the original point of this post was to get opinions on Blading, BMX or other "Extreme" sports.
Therefore the opinion of "none, I use my feet thats what their for and we can kick the shit out of people", or "I use a car, it does more damage" in addition to general flaming of participants in these sports on the grounds that they're "pre pubescent" or because "they're gimps" (your knowledge on the subject is amazing r1cko), cannot be considered useful additions to this debate.

And yes Bodhi, this is a general forum for general things. But if you look reeeeeaaaallllyyyy close, you'll see that there different headings. These headings are used to section off each individual debate (sometimes called "threads") so that people can post the correct comments in each one.
Not wander in and post stuff that has fuck all to do with the debate. The question was "Which of these do you do?", not "Do you do these or do you prefer to talk wank instead?"

As for the sports, i used to do some (kinda just messing about) bmx / bike stuff Main thing I remember was this "dirt mound" we used to hop and and stuff by the canal. One day i decided to hop it the other way, and went straight into the middle of the canal

So, nuff props to all you extreme sports peeps. Takes a lotta balls, and metal plated kneecaps Either that, or youre all insane
