Skald with 50 Sword

Any skald with 50 Sword? I know some but they never RVR

Anyway...
- Hows the damage?
- Is it worth giving up ur best dmgadd and last DD?
- Anyone wanna give me 5.7spd sword from TG and respec stone?
- Any other comments on it?

Troll with 57 quickness, 50+16 sword, Agmundr's Foe Slayer (the 5.7 spd sword) caps out at 769 damage on Ragnarok. Pretty much constant hits for 450+ with Celerity. With SC ingame and 50%+ body resistances it's no longer a question, Ragnarok > Last DD in every single aspect

I have tried 50 in weapon but that was with Axe, as to know the 50 style is the follower of Havoc the front style. I didnt notice much differences between Havoc and Tyr's Fury and went back to 44 axe as i'm relying too much on my DD's.

Now the thing is, do you want to deal alot of damage when you are in groups vs groups or do you want to be good at 1vs1 encounter..

I only enjoy the game by finding solo encounters (which is rare nowadays sadly enought ).

I know Max you sometimes go on your own so i dont know...

Also, your not only loosing the last DD but the last dps add, which is ~ +2dps difference and you have no parry?
Risky in my eyes.

Can you tell me what happened to Onslaught in pm?

50 sword is only way too go. Ragnarok is great dmg.



u get weaponskill and great style in exchange of ~poo dmg add and last poo dd ;D

I'm only a NOOB in RvR especialy with my skald , but I like my 50 axe spec..was able to take down a solo champ who ( according to xml files was 100k rp..so prob more at the time ) with my, at the time 50k rp skald..I'm sure it could be pure luck as i know champs are bad ass's 1v1 , or maybe he is just not any good, I used 2h , havoc +tyr's fury +dd+dd , mezz , evernight+ arctic rift , and did nice dmg ( this is a norse skald so no uber str ) I have purge ( didnt use it ) and AoM II as only ra's, ofc with 2+XX in parry you wont be no uber defence machine..but skald's will never be that with our current possibilities

also, Polar Rift & end regen > Hammer/Axe on a skald imo

If i have free full respec left ( and imo i have ) i go 50 sword
Those exal pictures are made with str-relics, but even when we remove 20 % we still get nice damage ( hint : get MOPain2 )

On the advise of others I have been going full song, with rest in sword (not sure what I get it to in the end).

However, after reading this I am confused.

Do I now go to 50 sword, and rest song now?

Would this not "gimp" the idea of a skald?

Your advice would be welcome as I am lvl 40 atm, and get a respec (I think).

Mind you, I get a single line respec when 1.62 comes live I understand too?

dont go higher than 46, rest songs are crap, and you hardly ever play the resists songs.

loool - Skalds are gimps. Gimps who can run a taxi service. Your songs are no use in battle. Whether you're a 50 sword or 44 cookie cutter you'll be a 2nd rate fighter with no defense who can interrupt catsers with your uber shouts

last night he was hitting for around 400 with Ragna on a RR6 armsman

best hit was 600ish on a RR2 inf who tried to take me
