If you wanna compare what Albion needs:

* A whining RR5 scout stealthing around your local MG getting killed by enemy stealthers and having payback every 30 mins running Truesight.

* A hard-working RR3 paladin doing his best to provide Albion with armour, weapons and stuff that he can make.


You can NOT simply say high RR is what Albion needs. Makes as much sense as Glottis usually does.

Also for you glotis, DF is more opend by RR5- people then by RR5+ people, I checked the last 5 months most keep takes and the number of RR4+ people is below 5%. Its the new players who defend the realm and open DF, its mostly the RR5+ people who farm, abuse and leave the realm alone for they're own ego like yours Glottis.

I did, they promote massive realm versus realm gameplay...
And I think 95% of us on these boards will agree that Realm vs Realm is what makes this game fun.

And anyway, the times Albion has DF is when DC is taken, and I have often enough bashed down those doors, or cleared those walls, so stop trying to talk shit. Loads of RvR aimed guilds help at those occasions also, so I feel pretty strongly there are a few guilds who do most of the work for the Albion realm.
And those players that do can generally be measured in rvr points, whether you like it or not.

Loads of times when the guilds are asked to help in a keep take when again 120 albs are zerging in emain they take the initiative to shout in the chat group that they will keep emain clear so we can take DC undisturbed.

And as if DF is the goal of the game.

Farming rps is not doing the work for Albion, stopping to farm, even when you do not feel like it, and defend your own keeps and retake them is what I would feel like doing the work for the realm. Its not a masure like "I did help 1 time this week to take a keep, my turn is over for this week".

I know NO guild that would activily defend the realm, on all cost. I do know a few players who do it, or atleast do it so often so they deserve my respect for it.

rps is no measure of how much you did for Albion, rps is only a measure of how much time you wasted to zerg in emain and destroy good RvR fights if you even do try to make a measure on it.

But you won't discuss it before Apocalypse is killed, so you want him dead so you can then be a dictator of the rules and only give to RR5? You should decide BEFORE the raid so people that are below RR5 know not to go to the raid for Apocalypse. imo why should -RR5 people help RR5+ to get uber-weapons? RR5+ should give no rights over -RR5 people.

Ok, ppl are not obligated to do RvR as it even says in the manual of daoc <cough>, so basicly the ppl who dont like to do it and stay a low RR are the victims of this RR5+ rule here. Those can be the ppl that spend all day crafting, so you cant say they are doing nothing to help out the realm and its members.

You can't get anymore cash from trading with someone if you're >250P, but you can still get cash from selling stuff to NPC's and killing mobs.

Even just cash farming helps the realm more than messing about in emain - as it inserts more cash into the economy, large amounts of which will end up with material and siege merchants.
