Sidi is becoming a bad Joke !

GOA seems incompetent to fix the Apocalypse encounter . Couple of weeks ago we experienced a bug where the 1st horseman went out of combat and cancelled the whole encounter ,trapping us in Sidi . Kemor got online ( surprised ) and spawned a Legion mob so we could get some loot , which was very crap but thanks for trying anyway .

Last wednesday we got the same trouble no E&E on so we where forced to logg after waiting a full hour doing nothing ,. Kemor said he fixed it so Last Friday we tried again ang Guess what happened ...

THE 1ST HORSEMAN WASNT THERE !!!!
So we couldnt start the Encounter but there was a bright side Kemor made us a "Trapped Soul" Which could teleport us out of Sidi ...that really made my day , he didnt fix the encounter ( like he did last time ) but just made an escape mob so we wouldnt get trapped .

Im very pissed off about missing out on 24 Uber drops from Sidi ( killing the 4 horseman doesnt pose such a challenge to our trained force and the loot from horseman is WAY better then any loot the keylords drop ) and very dissapointed about GOA . I know US has same problems but when they get it you simply contact somebody in game who runs a script for you which resets the whole encounter.

So Plz GOA fix this encounter because this isnt funny (5-6 hour raids slim to none award ) And if you have any proud give us some items for all the waisted effort and time ...

Like, every horseman only drops 1-2 items?

Goa can't fix the encounter. Mythic has to. Hence, we have to wait for 1.62.

Kemor's 'fixes' aren't permanent fixes, they're just encounter by encounter bumps to the program.

And if Kemor ain't online, there's jack shite E&Es can do

Oh, although - the Innocent Soul is a permanent fixture until 1.62, so at least we have that back door.

Been on around 15 raids on excal and though we have never had any bug issues with the Horsemen or Apoc, we have had problems on every raid with untargetable mobs.

Only way to kill em is pbaoe or relog and hit F8 as you enter game and hope it works. Even /assist on someone who has managed to tgt doesn't work.

Pain in the ass when, after each one, the whole force has to resort groups, rebuff etc.

2 or 3 untargettable 75+ mobs running amok in your force just takes the piss.

Maybe there working on 1.61... ohh no, were going direct to 1.62 which isnt out yet, so i guess theres not much work there.

Maybe there fixing the chronicals .... ohh no according to the news thats not being fixed for some time.

Maybe there working on the 3 new addons ? mm doubtfull i guess Mything havent even released any binaries yet.

Mmmmm well im sure there doing something.... just dammed if i can put my finger on it, the last 3 friday news have been lacking content

-Nxs- did u even read the other posts or did u only skip Roalith's post, cuz he actually tells you its Mythic who can fix it not GOA.

That u even got help is always something and im sure Kemor cant just hand u a bunch of items without some1 is gonna yell at him afterwards .

I never said GOA made the game, im fully aware its all Mythic code. But, as a comparison.. if you buy a new car, say a crappy Ford Ka, and it goes wrong or doesnt perform as expected... do you go direct to Ford... or do you go to the Dealer.

GOA is the Euro voice for DAOC players, if they cant resolve the problem they should be pushing for a code fix.

Sorry that dosent hold out mate, if there is a problem with a mob inside Sidi (or anywhere else ... say Galla) GOA cant do anything but say "Yeah its a problem, we can try and make some minor ajustments and see if it works". Where Minor ajustments could be to remove a horsemen untill he is killable again in the next patch from Mythic. Its Mythics game, its thier code, and there for its thier problem to solve it. GOA could help by pointing out there is a problem in this sector ... we think its retaled to bla bla bla ... but they cant do shit about it.


Besides if you are unhappy with the work GOA do .... /points at the US servers ... there are other options.

Please RE-READ my post, especialy the part that says "I understand its Mythics Code" and also the part that says "GOA is the Euro voice for DAOC players, if they cant resolve the problem they should be pushing for a code fix."

If there are problems like this, then a single voice in the dark complaining means nothing to Mythic, where as the company that hosts the Euro version "GOA" has a much stronger stance to get things changed,

To the people that seems eager to shift blame from GOA to Mythic:

Uh, no.

GOA are the ones getting our money and thus are responsible for running the show.


We pay an equal fee compared to Mythic customers and yet we don't get near the same amount of service. That's the bottom line !


Give :

24/7 ingame CSR support (boot their so called "event team" if they need to save costs)
Frequent news updates
Working chronicles ?


Then maybe people will stop bitching....

the first raid on excal had the problem with the first horseman resseting, but since then its been fin, touch wood
well apart from mobs running into walls, untargetable swords and the annoying provisioner who runs into a wall then regains all his health before reapearing
