let me remake my point a little simpler for you to understand

When the enemy uses a Bot in your opinion, they are loosers and should go and play WoW. The point i was trying to make is well if you use a bot, in your own opinion what does that make you ? and, what should you do ?

You said people who use BoTs are loosers and should go and play WoW, you use a BoT.

On another note the majority of people in leirvik dont use a bots and arnt buffed unless they're grouped, its your fault for trying it solo, failing misrably and investing in a BoT. Maybe this game wasnt meant for stealthers to WTF everyone. It only seems to be stealthers that are nearly always the ones that are solo buffed aswell.

By the way i dont have a Bot in any of the BG's.

Good post, you make good points but seem to fly over telsa's head. Suppose shouldnt be shocked, they just scream and moan about how it is so unfair to them yet they run around buffed 'pwning' unbuffed people and think nothing of it. When it happens to them, the toys get thrown and they run off to get the same thing so it 'wont' happen them again. Such hypocritical bullshit

there is very little difference when you look at the end result.

You are using a Bot to make your Char better, so that it will be alive at the end of a fight while your enemy is dead.

Both help for this.

If you had any skill at all you wouldn't be using a BB

DI = Devine intervention, its an RA that gives a health pool for the group. DI1 gives the group 1000 hp, DI2 2000 hp and DI3 3000 hp. So if the group takes damage its taken off the DI buff until its used up.

soloing in the BG's are for noobs the ones that are too incompetent to work with a group, why dont you leave the BG's and go to solo RVR missions ??? (thids a little different but this stands in molvik and leirvik)

soloing is easy try working with a group when the numbers are equal.

I see i made a lasting impression, i'll keep to topic and say he didnt invest in a bot to counter the zergy people, he invested in a BoT to counter Botted people, people grouped with a fully active buffing class of any sort do not count as a botted soloist.

yes you are using and learn your char while in the bg's.
but this is the thing , everyone want's to wtfpwn , so hence the BB.

You have every right to Whine about DI bots if you want.
However it just makes you look like a idiot , ( i'm not name calling as such, read below)

This is why anyone who has put a whine about Di bots and use a BB themselves :

You have a 2nd account active that makes your char live longer, it does nothing but b00f you, and then stands still, doing nothing untill your either dead or can switch accounts and land a heal.
Your whining about someone having a bot and you have on yourself , slightly different type of bot , but a bot none the less.

I'd say having a bot in THid, well everyone have nowadays, but having a BB in Molvik or Leirlik that i kinda dislike.
First because very few have them there, so not really needed, second if you level a BB for thid and molvik and leirvik and NF then you are a sad person with too much time.

Silly thread really... Buffbots are buffbots, those who don't have 'em will whine about those who do, it won't stop anyone using them, and pretending there is a difference between one bot and another (Whether this is a buffbot or DI bot, or a bot for the proving grounds, Thid, Molvik, Leirvik or proper RvR) is pointless, it still requires a second account, and the computer(s) to run it. The fact is, buffbots became part of the game when the first person decided to get one, if one person has an advantage, others will use the same strategy to counter that advantage, the only way this would change is a broad agreement that noone uses buffbots, and that won't happen, so why whine about it?

i have a bot to counter people who have bot's themselves , for buffs , and to see what my char can do in rvr with fullybuffed stats , it does amazingly well i might add.

i don't though have a bot inside a tower in leirvik rvr zone ( island ) , and buffed myself up then constantly run round and round and round etc... that tower and waiting for a poor stealther to attack the caster and think easy kill , instead u hit the bastard for 2k+ and still haven't seen the caster loose health ( and u can't see the healing that u should see if it was a heal ) , so the person has a DI-bot inside just to say "i'm here and u can't kil me but i can quickcast mez and then kill you! haha!"....UM OK.

besides maybe this is a natural whine by a stealther since the natural foodchain in daoc is stealther eat caster , caster eat tank , tank eat all.

to end this discussion , yes i have bb i use it to see the full potential of my sb and to counter other stealthers who use it also , but i will never run around unstealthed with a DI-bot stuck up my arse.
