Im pretty annoyed that its patch day tommorow, and everyone in europe except me and my fellow contrymen will be able to roam about the new area's etc till Friday earliest.

is there a reason for it being released on Friday? or is it just the suppliers being anal or something?

I don't know if it's to do with tradition or trading standards or whatever but games here in the UK can only be released on Fridays :\

yeah, it's shops that only release games on fridays.

Means they can do films on mondays, albums on tuesdays, etc

it's an organisational thing

I ordered it from Amazon, according to the delivery page it's not been despatched yet - and will not be until the 20th or 21st. Way to go Amazon

I phoned my local Game store and spoke to the Manager Mr Jobsworth.

I asked the release date and he said Friday, I asked why the website says 19th and he said 'Dunno'

I explained that Amazon shipped yesterday and people are receiving today. He said "Well if Amazon want to break the release date that's their problem"

I said "Doesn't it bother you that i could take my business to Amazon right now, and get my copy of the game tomorrow, which is still a whole day before you are willing to sell it"

"Nothing I can do about it, I can't sell the Game before the release date."

I spoke to Gameplay customer services.

They said that Amazon had an exclusive deal with GOA to have the game wednesday instead of friday- Those who ordered it elsewhere will get it friday... pretty sucky if u asked me.
