Omg people, you all seem to suffer from an extreme sort of paranoia ffs...lighten up, this is a game remember. Sure there may be some people who disclose cross-realm information occasionally, but thinking some guilds have organized spies in other realms is kind of paranoia. It's all a conspiracy i'm sure, GOA and even the head chief of Mythic are involved as well I guess...?

I received this when I logged on on the sunday morning at I think about 8 am, I proceeded to beno, with a group of 6 people a couple of sotl and a 3 LoE I seem to remember to see if these reports were fanciful or indeed true.

<sigh> Wish it was but have seen the log from the spy in one of our alliance guilds after he broke cover and "discussed" spying with a senior officer. Log was sent to GOA. The same log revealed it was part of an organised spying ring that had members in all guilds. Enough info in it to make it a serious possibility.

This is beginning to sound like a bad soap. That there should be an organized spying ring sounds a bit unbelievable to me. Actually it is more possible that this was a single spy trying to plant seeds of suspiscion among your ranks, and that sounds much more believable to me. Of course this doesn't mean that you should shrug it off as pure bs, and you of course did right to report it to Goa. I am sad to hear that spying even is a part of a game such as this as it doesn't exactly contribute to the game being more fun. However I do believe that it isn't happening in such a large scale as it seems to be believed at the moment.

Best thing to do is simply report to GOA any player who seems to be popping up with amazingly useful intel reports... GOA will check them out and take action if they are spying.
