hmm well....Ava use radar but still die more than any other "gank group" ?? and straef leading is the point of them not being able to take full advantage of radar. when the leader is using it its much easier abused and can be used to pick a specific point in jumping a group whereas when someone else in group tells you where to go its very vague.

Fyi...Everlast is a guild wich kinda fits into the category u here refer to as "gank grps"....yes we do take the game serioulsy. But would never even be tempted to use such a cheat/prog. And mebe to add a nice litte detail about everlast, the average IRL age in Everlast is 27-28 years....so I hope we dont fall into the 1337-kiddo-16-yearold-fotm-radar-abusing-gank-grps-etc-etc-osv category.

if you have a half decent comp, or a crap one you can feel lagg of 1fg before you even see them in line of sight etc... but yeah, when a group charges STRAIGHT to you when you are standing afk by zome odd zonewall where usually noone goes its either luck, lagg or radar 90% of these cases its luck (its very rare that this happens too) , and alot of times these "odd" spots are common rebuffspots

there was an radar program released on vnboards (dont know if it works for eu servers too, dont rly care), anyway it worked on us servers they even had a thread about it where some idiot posted a link to where to dl it (its deleted now, the link)

I can get similar screenshots from anyone, all i have to do is f*ck their brains about radar for a while. And their bad knowing of english would greatly help.
And the last thing a half intelligent person would do, is to post something like this of forums and accuse ppl of cheating without concrete, steel proof. I havent seen any yet.


You have just accused an old and respected player of using radar just because his english isnt very well, grats.

Don't need to monitor them, put some invisible "moving object" in every zone, if a grp trying to catch them x times in a row, there is a radar user in the grp. Problem solved.

I'm afraid I have to agree here. For example the "4+" log is him asking how you would react to radar... not him admitting he uses it.

Why post it on BW when you can report them to rightnow if you are so sure? This is name and shame and even with 100% proof that is a big nono!

Also you named at least 3 other players who were suspecting their guildmates but obviously didn't want to come out with their accusations... I must say I find that dumbest of all. And I hope Avalanche officers see that they were maybe "dragged into it" by Vive

1) absolutely no proof of radar in either of those SS's.

2) ive met Avalanche quite a few times and frankly, they suck tbh and we get the jump on them now and then aswell so I doubt they have a radaruser (or I have never met em while a supposed radaruser was in the groups).

3) Posting here on BW just ensure they will be more careful IF someone of them are a radaruser.

4) Viv, you yourself have broken the CoC a numerous times yourself and are not really in a position to cast stones in the glasshouse you are standing in.

5) Go and practise english for heavens sake, it was dreadful to read that rubbish you posted. No wonder you misunderstand and get misunderstood alot. (I am sorry if you suffer from dyslexia or something similar, then you really cant help it, but then you should really take your awful englishskills into the calculation when you make a public serious accusation such as this).

7) I do agree that Avalanche seem to have a very odd policy around cheating, "aslong as we dont know its fine and its the users problem" is how I interpreted it into and frankly, that sucks. I might have misunderstood ofc due to the poor language used.

I have to admit some things seem to be a bit weird (for instance the policy about cheating as mentioned by officer shreko) but there is not nearly enough stuff in there to proof they were cheating.

It could be very well possible some people use radar however, as said before... you really only benefit from it if the person leading the group does (and i believe is has been said that this person does not use it) and judging the results of Avalanches performances in RvR i don't think they benefit a lot from it at the moment.

Posting your suspicions was probably the biggest mistake you made. Not only will people using radar be more carefull about getting caught but you also named and shamed people based on no hard evidence whatsoever.

If you really want to proof someone is cheating get some hard evidence first, involve GOA to help and then... if you know for 100% sure tell your story if you feel like telling. Untill then.. don't post before thinking about the consequences.

2. Shreko, even if you have no censor for radar it is forbidden in the CoC, and IF you knowingly have let radar users get away with using it, you should be banned from the game aswell (notice the IF)

3. Scargill.. wtf you on about linux? DAoC doesn´t run in a pure linux setup, tbh I doubt that any of the "wtfpwn-CSkids" that would actually use a radar KNOWS how to use linux.

Some time back, an url to a radar website was posted on irc. Scargill was there also. He got very excited about the link and said he started dling it to see what all the fuss is about and after a while he said he stopped the download. Maybe he did and is clean, maybe he didn't and started using it until Vivace noticed it.

I got to know Viva pritty well the last weeks and he is a nice guy and often doesnt throw acusations around...
He might be right he might be wrong.

My own experiance is if u play on a comp with low gfx card memory the comp will auto /vidreset very often and that is "inc" lagg, If u rvr alot like i done with the old comp ( on a NS ) i could esaely tell if 1 fg inc or only a solo by the lagg when they entered clip range ( wihtouth seeing them) alot of ppl i played with probverly heard me say in >8 ppl and then 20 s later 1 fg reached a milegate and they asked me if i cheat.

Just my thoughts abuot this...

Not impossible either to see lagg ghousts when other doesnt since what i heard the game is runned on ur comp and not from the server ( or somthing. ) for exampel i turned into a Drinker in Goth ( alb sidi start town ) and no1 else seen this except me.

Whether Vivace is a nice guy or not, what he's done here is 100% wrong. As has been stated already he should have just sent his evidence to Goa and let them deal with it. They'd investigate and if Avalanche members are cheating then they'd get banned, if not then no-one would ever know and no-one would have to defend themselves against false accusations.
By coming out in the open here, Vivace has firstly stirred up suspicion against some people who may well be innocent - with no real evidence that I can see, and secondly he's tipped them off to a possible Goa investigation. If they were cheating then they'll get away with it as no-one would be stupid enough to carry on using radar until a safe time has elapsed.
Good job matey.
After this little episode I think his already shaky reputation has suffered more than Scargills or Shreks (although for a GM to say it's not his business if members are using radar and you shouldn't reprt guildies is lame in the extreme).

Well here i am, what can i say ,you have basically taken advantage of Shreko's language problems and provoked him into saying stuff which in itself isn't even evidence ...,me on the other hand well i jsut plain don't like you and when sumone you don't like accuses you of Radar to a fellow guildie(Lleana) and that guildie tells me what you have said i tend to go a bit fecking crazy.You evidence you have against me is almost nil and GOA would not even pay it attention...your clearly a sad little boy Vivace if this is what you do in your spare time. Straef,Nave seem to have been named on the BW forums - that is not nice mate,i know that Nave was at one point a little suspicious but he has informed me fully he isn't anymore and that he was never behind you 100%-Straef on the otherhand is one of my friends if he seriously suspected me he would message me and talk to me which has not happened. Shreko,apart from the language problems, is a nice guy and since joining the guild i have become friends with him-isn't that the general point of a guild.....I'll monitor the post closely and will await hard evidence.

I guess its hard being a stupid kid , but you have deserved no compasion cause of your lame actions.

Frankly i dont really care about this post because

1) I dont care what people outside guild think about me or my guild
2) I know for the fact that group1 and most of g2 doesnt use radar . Not sure about some just because i havent played with them.

To sum it up . We'll do some serious changes prolly.Something like reforming and only taking the people we can 100% trust. Or just making a 1fg guild to stop lamers like Vivace from geting in a guild.
