what about women who are traded and exported into the sex trade .. would you class that as worse or better than child rape ?

Its rape, its against their wishes if they were in a position to say no but they are coerced and controlled ... just like children ... into doing it

My point was that a woman has sexuality. She can say "no" and put up a fight, but how many rapists say "She was gagging for it" or some such comment? Because she's a sexual being, even though she was unwilling and attacked, there is the *possibility* of ambiguity.

Now a child doens't have that same sexuality and so can't be accused of "asking for it" or consenting in any way. That's the difference between an attack on a woman and an attack on a child. Both are heinous crimes, but attacking a child has a much longer lasting effect because they are still at a formative stage in their development.

A popular mistake many people make all the time in these debates is not understanding what life means. Yes they may get out in 15 years but when they get out they are on parole for the rest of their lives meaning if they so much as look at someone the wrong way they are straight back inside without so much as seeing the inside of a courtroom

I´m not going to answer "in style" because I think that throwing random insults and flames doesn´t exactly help the discussion. So instead:

Sorry about the "sodomists", that was a translation mistake of me. In german, "Sodomist" is a person who shags animals.

Paedophiles are sick. So are rapists. So are murderers (I´m talking about the maniac kind of murderers... the ones that kill for fun). All of those people have one thing in common: they have a perverted drive that makes them a potential threat to other people´s life. Can you really weigh off human life against human life? And if so... based on what?

Again.. if you don´t want to discuss with me in a mature way and just want to spill your populist slogans, then let me know.
