I always have the problem when i buy groceries i never get what i really need, no planning ahead etc. What is on your lists when you go shopping groceries?

Fucking did it again, lots of stuff i needed to buy but i were stressed out and missed it. But to make a list of groceries would be gay tbh!!

with list in hand:
- Daipers, milk, coffee, fruit, toothpaste, dinner, potatos, havregryn "muslii" ect and so on

without list:
- coffee, milk, that chocolate bar, 2 bags of chips, a spray deo, some pizza toppings, a cheeze snack, cake and a Cola!

Haven't had a shopping list since i left home way back when.

I just look at the fridge, see what's missing and buy stuff. Sometimes i buy extra stuff because i want it

I do all my grocery shopping (except for emergency M&Ms and starbars) on line at the weekedn to be delivered on tuesday, so that gives me a couple of days to add stuff if needed but (BUT!!!) also...

top tip!! Have a dry wipe board to write stuff on as you run out/think of it during the week.

Also grocery shopping on line saves money because there is less impulse buying, you can "see cheaper options" and have a standard list that you can refer back to when you check past orders.

If you hadn't guessed, i bloody love it i do! It's like £3.50 for delivery but tbh it saves time and money so in my book is well worth it.

If you buy branded items from a supermarket you're a numpty.

Go into poundland / 99p store and you will find most branded things there.

Well, saves and saves. If you have no control over impulses, then it saves, otherwise it costs you 3.50

That's a weeks worth of cheese atleast.

Not to mention impulse shopping works online too.

I'm thinking you like it 'cause it caters to your want to stay out of crowded places

About Lidl...it saves a ton in money and the produce is the same stuff they put in regular branded stuff(not quality stuff though), so it's just in every way better to rab a car, fill it at Lidl and not bother with the shopping for a month or two

I usually make a list of stuff I really need then either leave it at home or completely ignore it. I then buy stuff I think I need or looks interesting.

I make a comfortable amount of valuables a month, yet i still shop at Lidl 'cause...well...a penny saved is a penny towards another scotch bottle

Basingstoke snob doesn't compute. Lived there a couple of years at the posh end of town by the Cricket Club and I would never call it snoby. Some countryside around it.

To elaborate on Basingstoke -He can tolerate Festival Place Shopping Centre (and we enjoy eating out and popping to the Vue). But when I want to go to Primark., Tiger, Wilkinsons -out in the 'dodgey' bit- he mimes holding his nose and taking a deep breath. And he has a limited time before he cannot stand the mankiness and chavs any longer!!

I tolerate it for the absolute bargains. Ed has no need for bargains as he is an Abercrombie and Fitch man through and through
