managed to miss my flight out by 10 minutes! aarg! the real shock was finding out that the next one to amsterdam departed at 06:40 the next morning. I spent 13 hours checking out gatwick [the airport shops, people, floors, etc], bought a book and crashed with some starbucks stuff. they have very nice brownies.
highlight of the evening: two italian backpackers on the couch across from me decided to have sex and then got told off by a [laughing] policeman who materialised out of nowhere.

got home 13:00 sunday afternoon. crashed and burned in bed
