Shadowblane is very ugly. The one nice aspect of the game is RvR - cities are nice but that's about it.

The game had great potential but they ruined it by simply not making the world look nice. Was in the beta at start, wasn't any better in the last beta. Daoc > Shadowbane, just because daoc looks great.

Played in the Europe Beta before SWING went tits up. And I must say that it was starting to become a very good and polished off game. The RvR aspect of it is very nice. And the city idea is great as in the game sieges will actualy mean something much more than a "oh dear the fecking albs are attacking the relic keep". This game will make sieges more personal as it means someone is actualy attacking something you own and built up, which also costs alot of in game money.

The skill system is much more flexable and with a wider range of races you dont end up with a cookie cut class like in camelot. Ok the graphics may not look much but there is more to a game than prety moving pictures. I just hope Shadowbane is released soon in Europe so I can leave Camelot as Mythic has fucked it up with all the so called balancing patches.

I played shadowbane in beta and it was shaping up very nicely. The game has very nice potential. Too bad with the euro crisis right now with the european publisher being bankrupt and only people living inside the US being able to play.
