You know, it amazes me the amount of people that believe if you're not level 50, you dont know squat...
the majority of my guild have been in game since closed beta, we're not powerlevellers, we just have better things to do that Powerlevel... Only two members have hit 50 so far, with a few more close.
And I count a large number of them as highly knowledgable about the realm.
Me personally, I like to think I know a fair amount about my class, and one or two other classes too, but personally I dont want to spend the next 6 levels in Malmo begging for a group (not that I'd have to beg as a healer) I'd rather do it on my own time.
and yes, I understand that in your opinion Healers are just there to press the heal button for you... shows that you've never played a healer.

tbh i started this flaming coz i was bored, but i see that a lot of u were offended, so it was funnier.
yes i played a healer, i prolly played everything that u did, and i cant understand that ppl that came from beta times ( as me ) didnt have a 50. anyway i dont care, i just wanted 2 see how can evolve this Flame thread, im out of it. its funny that u dont "powergame" but u "powerforing" <-- sorry for this weird word ^^

To the original poster: I was in Siegemode's group during your keep-taking attempt, first time that I have grouped with him, and I can only say that I had no idea how the realm-points were trickling in, I assumed quite naively that our thane was throwing miraculous mjollnirs.
I thought you would take down the second door, it was left on a sliver, and the forces were very evenly matched towards the end of things; it wasn't one of those huge keep attacks and defences, it was the more enjoyable keep-taking skirmish.
If his conduct upset you, I can only sympathise, and as corny as it sounds I half-feel like apologising since it was my magic on him that was helping him to hit you so hard.
If it's any consolation, it was a very valiant attempt at a keeptake (perhaps a little too optimistic though *wink*) that you all tried, I hope the next time we fight it'll be enjoyable for -both- sides of the coin.

Not saying you don't know how to play Siegemode (well, you don't actually going by what is said on /gu) but maybe you need to realise that anyone who cons blue to you might know more than you, enough to kill you maybe.

Trying to work out if that or Sarcasm or not is very hard as is understanding your post
Ayam, apart from the incident with Seigemode i really enjoyed the keep take, it was alot of fun and required alot of skill from our team. To be honest i didnt expect anyone to come to the keep as there were only 7 of us attacking, and then 6. I know if i saw keep guards dying from 6/7 members in our /gu i wouldnt rush out to investigate.
The tanks played very well and kept me alive until Seigemode started playing dirty. If the guards werent so high we would of broken the door and had some fun trying to kill the lord.

Well we had just claimed the keep and the first doors were lvl 7 and second lvl 5 and I had left my main logged in the keep playing an alt.
We saw first guards die to 7 and thought nothing of it. Then guards kept getting killed so i logged my main on and saw you out side and raised the alarm.
btw you were 8 in the region all the time guard spam went off during the raid and its hard trying to kill a group of palis twisting end and heal chants so i raised the keep lvl from 4 to 10 and by the end of the take when the guards over ran you they were lvl 10 guards
and called the rest of the guild to come help.Was fun till I died but i laid and watched you and reported into the keep.
I can verify that siegemode was porting in and out of the keep with the gatekeeper cause he kept ppping by my head.
It was fun but cost us loads in gold for the doors heehee
you try killing a group that is healing its self without the cleric and constantly using styles

I saw seigemode teleport into the keep a few times at the end, but i didnt see him teleport out as if i had heard the teleported noise and read his "xx says somthing in a diff language" spam i would of ae pbae'd the gatekeeper to uncover the stealthers.
In the first SS the pallys had just finished off killing the guards and i was about to make the ram and i was PA'd, if he had do it by coming out we would of seen him for sure and one of the tanks would of slammed or i would of mezzed. The fact is that he lagg PA'd me through the door twice, on the first instance he got a CD off as well (he PA'd me, i saw damage and stepped back he got CD off and i was stunned as you can see on the SS. Like i said before i concider this cheating as do other people. I have a feeling Dook_Pug would consider it cheating if he didnt have a 50 SB, but i could be wrong.

Please, I beg of you, read what I (and others) have written. It is NOT (NOT/ISN'T/IS NOT) cheating.
My SB doesn't even have PA, hell, she doesn't have BS2! What could I possibly gain from saying this isn't cheating?
Whether you consider it cheating is of absolutely no consequence.

Fact 1 : Shadowblades got stealth
Fact 2 : Shadowblades have NO problem jumping out of a Keep
I think what happened there was this :
1. He jumped out of the keep
2. said 'enter' or had a macro for it
3. targetted you
4. ran up to you, PAed you ... and got teleported inside the keep by the gatekeeper
there is NO range limited to this teleport once the gatekeeper is activated. Tested that.

I had to laugh the time siegemode missed his perf on my stealthed bluecon minstrel (nerf see hidden) and then purged my insta stun just before my mezz landed allowing me to get away Made up for the three other occasions he'd killed me with that bloody ra earlier, although I couldn't get albs to budge from mmg to finish him off Another pl'ed sb who goes straight for see hidden for the easy but rare archer/minnie kills, rather than the more beneficial passive ra's for all situations... Seen a real influx of RR2 sb's (and the odd ns) with see hidden these last few weeks. At least most of them make it blatantly obvious that they have spotted you if they are unstealthed and give you plenty of time to run off.

You have any idea how easy it is to see a blue minst as a assasin?
I would never buy See hidden and i dont think i know anyone who has it...just becuase your easy to see does not mean people have see hidden

He did not do this, like i said he would of either been detected and hit, my pbae would of hit him or he would of gone into the keep to soon. Seigemode has tryed to PA me several times and the only times he has been succesful were at that keep take when he lagg PA'd through the door. It would take alot of skill to do what you are implying, skill which tbh i dont think he has.

I am sorry you endorse these actions Dook_pug but i dont, and it spoiled the keep take because he was cheating - Yes i still think its classed as cheating, i will be sending a question to right now shortly as soon as i find out where the send question tab is

The other day me and a few friends decided to attack a keep, after a while we got the first door down and i was operating the Ram on the second door. The keep had a few defenders in, one being a ShadowBlade. Now i believe this ShadowBlade was using the "lagg trick" Where he would stealth, have an enemys name targeted (mine in this case) and then would tap forward with me on /face and take a screenshot, this would cause him to lagg through the door and if he clicked the Perforate Artery button he would pull off this style while i was on the other side of the door. I have been having a discussion wether this is Cheating or not. I feel that this is cheating as i cannot see this player and he can attack me without myself being able to attack back (that is unless i am in combat mode with no target and wait for the shadowblade to pull of Perforate Artery, then my weapon will swing at him once until his lagg ghost disappears) . Is there any chance of an official response regarding wether this is Cheating or if this type of play is allowed.

The discussion was about whether or not Siegemode was exploiting a bug by PAing through a door.
You've biased your question and asked whether lagging through a door purposely and hitting someone is illegal without ANY proof as to whether he did so or not.
PAing through the doors is possible BTW, as is hitting through the doors.
They'll undoubtedly tell you it's illegal (because lagging and attacking on purpose is)...But regardless, it has nothing to do with this incident because you have no proof he even did this. He PA'd you through the door, which is perfectly within the rules and completely possible.
