I was in that group of 7 and I can honestly say, we did bloody well. 5 paladins, a cleric and an armsman to guard the cleric. At one point I remember us holding off over 15 guards with little cc but the PBAOE mez, which isn’t exactly great, and ofc Shield stun. As the mids came storming in we must have taken at least 6 of them down while they ran around spaming ‘ enter/exit ‘. Was a great attempt at a keep take and a lot of fun. Pitty the mids couldn’t handle us until we were overrun with guards

I got no laughs and at least 5 bows/salutes.
Its been said b4 and I’ll say it again, what u do is what u get back. If u salute, ppl will salute u back.

Seigemode, that is total and utter BS, you know as well as i that you lagg PA'd, on the first screenie i did scroll up to find the damage you did (you can see you hit me for 8x damage, so it isnt in the bit you PA'd me) i had 4 or 5 archers shooting me with the Armsman blocking and the other spam inbetween like the chants, i had to scroll up to get you hitting me with PA but instead i got the bit where you damaged me instead. If you look at my HP you can tell i was just hit for big damage, which tbh can only come from a caster or a PA, and you did not exit, then ask to enter and come around and PA me, i would of seen that, and if i did the 7 other very well played tanks would of.

Yes i got the same but i saw two people /laugh at a member of the group, which i thought wasnt fair.

Since day 1 of forums any noob can come here and post his shit (true, we saw that everyday). But if one level 49 can come 2 here and flame my english (that is bad,but understable) i can come 2 here and flame his lvl, coz one dude with 1 char lvl 49 dont have enough experience in this game for speak bout it, and this forums r for speak bout game, not bout english.


Btw i ll dont apologie for my english, my english is bad but understable come 2 spain and try 2 say anything more complex that "camerero, dos cervezos por favor".


Btw siege dont cheat, simply he knows more of game that a cleric, thats all.

As for the lag thing: it happens, it sucks, it'll always happen until we are all sitting beside the server or, as B said, material physics are implemented.

But, alas, this is Barryswhine, so there will always be whines from both sides

I don't play that often I only have a level 44 and a level 47 char, does that make me a n00b? possibly. I read *alot* of forums and take in alot of info from them, listen to people's rantings and talk to other players online alot. Does that make me a n00b? Again possibly. However, you don't know either way. Just because someone doesn't choose to level all his chars to 50 straight away by grouping constantly and not doing anything else other than play DAoC doesn't mean he doesn't know anything about the game.

I've been playing this game since about 2 weeks after release but I just don't play to XP all the time.

its true, u can't flame someone for there level, and believe if they have a lower lvl then u they have less experiance, docwolfe has been playing for ages, at least 8 months as i remember, i've met him in the frontier many times, as an alb and more recently with my hib......

but wait......O my god my current main is only lvl 43!

Perhaps we none english players should all leave this game, cause we dont write perfect sentence structure or use the proper grammar. I know I know more than some level 50's out there, because I have had conversations with them and frankly it is shocking what some people don't know about this game. I play for fun, not for having the best chars.

It's a game, levels are irrelevant (when it comes to knowledge) if you ask me.

Well, if you count the fact my main has just over 73 days /play now, and is level 23, then yip, I'm doing something wrong.






Well, no I'm not. Usp has been 50 already, I deleted and took a stint in Mid/Pryd but missed HDS so moved back. Was unable to get a restore, so restarted. Recently hit 1k SC, with Usp, as well as levelled a Bard to 48.95, a Druid to 43 and a Ranger to 42. Not to mention the fact I have been playing DAoC since December 2001, an average of 8 hours a day since then, tried nearly every class to at least level 30, can navigate the entire of Hib and all frontier zones flawlessly (spent 3 weeks learning them at 5am when server population was in single figures, over 8 months ago). I know every trick in the book, I know the flaws and weaknesses of every class. I know spells, damages, casting times and resists of all classes. I know damage cap for most classes, the 'cookie cutter' spec too.

So please, continue calling people who don't have a current level 50 noobs, and looking down on them from your apparent godly throne.
