Earlier today me and a few friends went to attack Hilds, there were 7 of us and once we got there one of us shortly went ld, leaving 6. I was the ram operator and we got the first door down with little problems. Once we got on the second door mids showed up.

Seigemode that ShadowBlade who can only pull off a PA via cheating. I was ram operator and he kept using the lagg exploit to PA me through the door. I got very angry at this unfair play. This screenshots prove it, the first one no one in my team was damaged and i was on 1/4 after he PA'd me, you can only see him damaging me. The second one is less credable as i am away from the keep doors. But i was in the same line as i would be when using the ram, and he PA'd me again.

Ive just come here to bitch and vent my frustration, you seem to be a top class candidate for "Prick of the week" And "Power leveled ShadowNewb" . Just got to say well played you cheating scum. - And yes i am 100% sure he was cheating by using the lagging thing.

For anyone that is interested we got the second door to 5%. If those 13 mids inside the keep had jumped over the side or all come out they would of wiped us, such ashame they didnt realise. And some had the cheek to /laugh at us after we died (and another group who later came to help) We put up a good fight and such ashame it was spoiled by some.

You need to copy and past the link to see the images. On the second image you can see where he PA'd me for the second time. (i had to use an insta after the first one) I died in the end when he came out of the keep and attempted to PA me but missed (as he usually does in emain) Lucky for him the guards had got me to 2/10 hp and he could kill me with 1 style.

I get PA'd thru the door at least once in every keeptake vs albs,
it's not a cheat since u can hit him back.
Just pray that mythic will fix the bugs in daoc, not much to do until then mate m8.

I cannot hit them through the door as i dont use the lagg exploit and i cannot see him lagging through if he is stealthed. I am also not in attack mode as i heal.

Nothing to do with the 'lag exploit'.

If you target someone outside of the keep who's hitting the door, you can then climb into the keep and hit them through the door aslong as you still have them targetted.

It's -NOT- an exploit because as someone has already said, you can hit them back. You just hit the key that you have assisgned the 'target last attacker' function to.

You really shouldn't accuse people of cheating without full knowledge of the situation.

It is a bug, there is no way about it. He could of been doing what you said, or he could infact of been lagg attacking, both in my books are bugs. Just because Mythic hasnt given an official statement might mean people have the slighest bit of common sense.

I am sorry if i dont have alot of knowledge on how to cheat. But what i do know is that what seigemode was doing was not the legit play, and to be honest spoilt my experience and a few others.

People used to do this a lot in the past. You'd have two sets of tanks whacking each other through the doors for ages.

Nowadays, it's mostly left to AE DoT'ing and PBAE to chase away tanks bashing the doors.

Build the ram at the door, then step away, out of melee and high PBAE range.

Not a bug exploit, and until Mythic implements some form of true physics, where you simply cannot pass through solid matter, like, oh, doors, and other people, then this will continue to happen within the construct of the game. It's stupid that any pet can pass through doors (except for SM - ghosts), but they do, and it's not bug abuse that they do it, it's the way the game is made.

Live with it, whine about it, then move on.

Azal it wasnt me lagging, you can only lagg in the direction your moving (i think) In the first SS i wasnt moving at all, and in the second SS i was stepping back out of range from the door.

So a few of you are saying that it is not exploiting a bug by ScreenShot lagging through the door and PA'ing someone? Im sorry but i just cant get that into my head. Chanter pets etc going through the door i can accept as if someone attacks the chanter the pet will go for them unless its on passive and then there isnt much point in using it. But deliberatly doing it just isnt on in my Books.

It was like earlier this evening at Beno, Albs got the first door down and there were about 5 of us on the second door and someone repairs the first door from the inside

I dont think this is fair either, the only way you can repair the outer door without standing next to it either from the room above it, or from the wall which doesnt have LoS. So you can repair the door and not get attacked.

In the first screenie i see that u r hit for xxx dmg , yes but where am i ?, maybe i am inside of keep , or maybe no . I could have PAed u anytime then u go near door and make the screenie after scrolled to that PA , same in the 2nd screenie , i see the info about the dmg on PA and u low on life , yes . but again , where am i ? after a PA i should be unstealthed , well i will tell u what happened : i was inside the keep i stealth [ stealth = skill that some classes can specc in] i speak with the gatekeeper to port outside , i speak with the gatekeeper again [ look in the screenie --Siegemode says something in a language you dont understand (seems like u dont understand many things )------]

Ok, now that that's all cleared up, I'd like to say that it was a good fun keep defence and for once I managed to chain mjollnir without instantly getting nuked/DoT'd all the way to Valhalla and back. There was even a Skrad death spam at one stage!!

And I was standing all the time in the highest tower, and I saw Seigemode all the time. He never used any warp bugs, atleast what I noticed. And yes, he used the gatekeeper very nicely

Perhaps we none english players should all leave this game, cause we dont write perfect sentence structure or use the proper grammar. This is not the first post about someone's language skills, and i'm getting pretty tired off it. We are all not born into the English Empire. I would love to see you learn Finnish and use it 100% correct.

And the post about none lvl 50's have nothing to say is also wrong, perhaps we should ignore thoose who have not celebrated their 20th birthday yet. Hmmmmm, no.
