Well this my goodbye message to the good daocers of excal. im sure ive spent wayyy too much time in game and on these forums for my own good, but it was really fun . To me the game has irreversibly changed now, there is no romance or 'coolness' left, and nothing else to achieve.. so i really cant afford 8 quid a month for a graphical chat proggy

:wub: to all long time celtic fist members, and old school hibbies, that ive had such fun in group chat whilst levelling and rvring with(you all know who you are). CF will always be #1 in hib. anyone can make an RvR guild, but CF was the perfect hib daoc guild. no wub at all to guild hoppers.

thanks to all the people ive played with and against since the start of excal way back.. the best opponents from day one were always NP, skilled and dedicated players expoiting mean classes.

maybe i'll pop back to see master levels and pwn you all again (will i be dr. novamir by then?!!? - yes, now you're scared).

I remember fighting your hero while I was playing my theurgist, and later your bard while im on my sorc, I'll never forget that time I was chasing you to DC and everytime I began casting mezz you turned and amnesia'd me, was stlong skill
Also the fights when you grouped with Garbannoch and Domain, great fun, shame we only had about 5 unspoiled fights in total, I still remember the one where we had 2 sorc's 3 wizzies 2 clerics and a pala or something and came really close to winning

If only daoc was like that all the time, log on, get a group with your guild mates right away, go out and meet a challenging fg like urs, then meet a hard mid group, then maybe 2 groups at once but with less skill/RR. Sadly nowadays its more and more zergs and the idea of lvling my chars on prywden grows stronger.
