A controversial appearance by SLIPKNOT and BIOHAZARD members during DJ Rob Gee's set at the Dutch techno festival Sensation Black Saturday (July 8) ended in fistfight between the DJ and a concertoer. According to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, techno fans began booing the DJ before his set had even started.

Wonder why ID&T booked those Rock/Hiphop Crew for a Hardcore Festival....

haha no... someone from the festival visitors made it up to the stage and tried to stop the Act. There was a Techno DJ up there, Kurtis Blow (Hiphop guy) and Members of Biohazard and Slipknot. They played some really stupid Music. Atleast for this Festival. A Mix of Metal, hiphop and rock at a Dance Event......

Thing is if you don't do something that harsh at that point you're just inviting more people to jump up on stage to get a friendly slap.

And...as far as i see...the guy actually took a swing.

Swinging at a band member, ANY band member, is almost like trying to swing at a police person.

nah the trailers look quality :)

hate when the crowd won't accept anything a little different to what they were expecting tho, no need to be closed minded when it comes to music.

The thing is, people who go on such festivals want to party to their music. They pay alot money to have a nice night. Imagine a Techno DJ at a Heavy Metal Festival....i doubt he would go out alive there.

And this is what happened. People weren't happy with it. they started booing , half the Hall started to sit down (35000 People were there ), etc but the Artists didn't stopped. Until this one Guy climbed up and stopped it. (with his head ;) )

And what the Band Members did with the Guy is the lowest thing you can do. They were enough to just carry him out without the fight...

Cleary the fault of the Organizers!

Prodigy headlined the second stage at the Download festival this year, the biggest heavy metal festival in the UK, and got a brilliant reception.

I think it just proves that techno/hardcore fans are closed minded.

I think this means Prodigy don't play "Techno" or Hardcore infact no where near it..Techno is different to Trance btw because I just KNOW you're grouping them together.

Prodigy don't play anywhere near this kind of music. I bet if fucking Snoop dog turned up at download the same kinda shit would happen.

I think it proves that you don't know anything about the genre so you should keep your cake hole closed.

Thanks for coming!

you can see that from the comments in the rvr section when someone releases a vid
if its not heavy metal there is the usual 20 or so "crap music" comments

I bet it wouldn't.

I went to a local Metal club 2 nights a week for 4 years. It was always crowded, there was a fight once.

Been to a few other clubs, there were usually fights.

Very, very rarely seen metal fans beat up people, just isn't in the culture.

Also seen Metal and Grunge played at a Cropredy music festival, went down a storm.

Metal heads don't fight without a reason.

That's just a fact.

In all my yearsin metal clubs, and i've been around them a plenty, i've seen perhaps two fights that were started or involved metalheads.

The real problems start when tech/rap people come into metal clubs and start a fight.

In our local club, the DJ can even throw in a couple of Buffy the vampire slayer theme songs, a-team tune, local girl power songs and noone is the angrier. It's just not inour minds.

i been going to dance clubs every week for about 6-7 years and the only time i have ever seen needless fights were when i was at Peach and they had a garage room that was all.

People dont needlessly fight at dance events (i'm mainly talking about Hard house and trance, Funk clubs) DnB not too sure about i hear bad reps but that doesnt mean shit

Never seen any trouble at Trance clubs. So I don't see why the metalers are trying to imply we are a bunch of roudy chavs.

Which is untrue?

Around here, not.

Don't know if it's spesificly trance, dance, your basic drunken yiihaa cap wearing, suit guys out or whatnot...

But there's always police around the other clubs, not in metal places.

It's just a fact that metal heads don't fight too much, too lazy for it.
