Lol you're totally right, we're not just trying to educate. We are definitely actively bashing the cult. You can tell by the prank contest this thread was about 10 pages ago. While we do seek to educate people, most of our anti-scientology actions deprive them of either money, members or credibility.

Thanks for the confirmation, no need to guess now :D

THATS EXACTLY WHY WE FIGHT THEM, RETARD. They lie and make up shit and start smear campaigns against annnyyybody who stands in their way. Pay attention, at least fucking wiki this shit to begin to educate yourself on the topic, and then do the real research before defending a cult of idiots who do horrible shit every day.

What a poor advocate you are for Anonymous.

The more I read about it the more it looked like a bunch of script kiddies who got upset because Scientologies Lawyers were mean and threatened to sue people over breach of copyright and your every post reinforces this viewpoint.

I think you should stop now before you dig yourself in deeper though I must admit a certain ironic amusement at your rather naive posting style :)

It is difficult to treat a bunch of kids who are also in some battle against the Australian Government seriously :p

I'd already confirmed this (as you well know, as you responded). And then posted:

None of Anonymous' attacks against Scientology are levelled at individuals. Their tactics mostly involve peaceful ridicule of the "organisation", it's structures and it's "beliefs".

They're not forcing anyone to do anything. They're ridiculing the "beliefs" of the organisation and at the same time showing everyone else what a bunch of ridiculous fucktards they would be if they signed up.

Now, what's wrong with that?

So come on. You or rynnor. What's wrong with that?

Conclusive evidence please.

Sethdood, care to comment on rynnor calling you a liar?

I already posted evidence of crimes conducted by Anon - you on the other hand have no proof whatsoever behind your accusations.

Edit - post some proof and I will look at it but merely repeating accusations has no weight.

didn't you simply post claims made by scientologists - the same people that accused people of paedophilia falsely?

Partly it was a report of the sentencing of a kid who's part of Anon but since thats the only evidence so far its a lot better than nowt :p

Edit - as to the accusations about scientology no-ones actually posted anything like proof.

No.

Again, missing the point. Anonymous is not supposed to be a protest group, and not a cuddlebunch looking to hand out fliers. The church's stupid attempt to censor a video of Tom Cruise looking crazy was the beginning of this, yes, but that was also paired with many anons finding other videos of the church picketing peoples houses and other examples of legal abuse. I'm not going to sit here and fill you in on the entire background of anonymous and who did what to escalate and where it is now. You can very easily read up on this, I recommend the Maxim article on it as it was very thorough.

Heh - that video is funny - you can see why they'd like to ban it :p

Edit - was it the church or Tom Cruise behind the ban attempts - the man is singularly lacking a sense of humour :p

It was hysterical, so the church tried to get it banned because it was being used to ridicule them. They hate when that happens, hence the contest.

That the one where he said only Scientologists can really help people, because they're special and everyone else is pretty much shit...

...yep. That's the one :D

And yes. Ridicule is a great way to stop new people joining. It's non-violent and very effective - hence the "church" getting all legally pissy :)
