Ok, here`s the deal. The people already on my list will not be affected by this.
The last day made me realize that sc is frustrating compared to other tradeskills, the ones of you that have tried both now what I`m talking about. So when taking my shower this morning I decided that I wouldn`t do "public" sc anymore, but after a msg from a friend I decided to try another path. People buy 99-100% studded & chain for quite a few P, but why do they buy it? To get it imbued of course. With my earlier prices overcharging a full set with 4-5IP overcharge cost ~1P. Took me about 2 hour to make my first complete set, the second which I`m working on atm seems to go faster, but still 3 parts left, so who knows.
Here`s the new prices, take it or leave. Others will get to 1001 skills very soon, most likely a few already has.
Material cost +
1-25 Imbue Points (IP from now on) = 1g / IP.
25+ IP = 2g / IP.
Overcharge = 2g / IP + 0.5g / retry + an hourly fee of 300g, but no less than 100g, no matter time involved.
2 important things to notice about the above pricing system.
1: I doubt it`ll ever take more than ~2 hours to make a full armor set.
2: If you only need a 2 point overcharge, gem quality doesn`t matter, thus it goes as fast as no overcharging and thus the 100g minimum price listed above. If you want 3 point overcharge, 98% quality gems will do and it goes pretty fast to do it. Naturally, any higher quality gems shows up and I`ll use them instead, not that it matters in terms of success.
Price example with the above system: Full armor set max overcharge on each part. Assume 2 hours time to get the gems done and roughly 230g.
(Material cost ~220g) + (Base IP cost = 37*2*6 = 444) + (Overcharge IP cost = 5*2*6 = 60) + (0.5g / retry cost = 5*4*6*0.5 = 60) + (material retry cost ~230g) + (hourly fee = 2*300 = 600). This all sums up to 1.6P for a full set with max overcharge on all parts, but since the SC is at least as important as the armor itself, I think this is fair. So with the new pricing system it`s between 300-600g more expensive to go to me for a full set.
So yes, I`ve upped my prices twice. But this last system is based on the amount of time I have to sit clicking and stuff. Not like when crafting tailoring, you buy lots of material, sit down, press a button, wait a minute or two and press is again. Doing that I could study at the same time. Well, enough of the bs, now you know the prices if you still want me to do it.
