I'll bet that the last player to leave Daoc will be an Infiltrator. Because they are by default the morons by defintion.

BM: CD _AND_ pierce or blunt or blades

what you have is a case of overpowered classes/specline getting nerfed so they are then worse than other realm counterparts. Along with mythic saying 'it shouldn't of been like that it was a mistake/bug that we have now fixed.

Smite went from one of the best Alb line to one of the worst (in many peoples eyes), often only spec pre 20 to help with kill tasking. After seeing the error of there way, smite was given a small boost that improved its spec DD cast time (increasing its dps over all) but with the high resists still fall way short.

Getting better resist seems like a great way of countering the mezz wins RvR yet is now the blain of most casters, not just CC casting ones. Lowering max resists will mean mezz is more effective than it is (catch 22).

If mithic desided to end the double specing 2handed weapons in Albion, we will go from having the worst 2handed spec to probably the best (is having all three damage types vs single specing for both 1H and 2H weapon in mid better?)

If they finally desided to remove ranged instent CC sorcerers would probably rain supream as the Mezz kings. If Healers lost there insten AOEmezz and Stun, added to the low Dex for there races would leave them in a very pour standing against a Inconnu or Saracen Sorcerer with Quick cast. Maybe the answer would be to remove all forms of instent CC but give cleric/heaers/druids Quickcast. Only problem now is Bards the for wouldn't get the Quickcast. So you give it to all healing classes, now you have Friers QCing heals while in combat.


Mythic made the new realm classes to help them sell the new add on. Both of mids classes are excellent at RVR. Albion got the best solo PvE class , while Hibs, being the lest populated realm gets 2 well rounded classes (i think mythic were trying to target there new add-on at the 2 large populations).

Mythic have put themselves in a bad posision, they know that some classes/lines are over power but if they try to fix (some say nerf) people will stop playing them or even leave the game. They know that people don't leave because a class is over powered but they do if a class is nerfed.
