leaving the server is hardly "tantrum throwing" its continuing to play the game (thus helping it survive) by going to a better (in our opinions) server/cluster, you don't really expect people to stick around if the server is rubbish now do you?

you can leave and go somewhere else but the same shit happens over there tbh. Lower population has some advantages. like when you solo during the day its really quite good fun. even now in primetime with say 700 people its add central.

I dont think the US will be any different I think the grind actually gets you motivated on getting this toon RVR ready but once you hit the battlefield you will encounter the same things that made you move in the first place...

the possible exception people genuinly playing for real competative FG rvr.

Your reply wasn't less child'ish. It appears to me as though it was meant to demean the poster, as though he and the guild he represents don't have a valid reason for moving server. I just expected better of someone who has been assigned responsibility for moderating these forums. Obviously, I was wrong to think that.

Oh, and perhaps now you have a clearer idea of "my expectations" rather then speculating in a child'ish manner about what those might be. If you want to be taken seriously as a moderator, perhaps try posting less sarcastic, child'ish remarks yourself. Maybe then I (and maybe others?) may start regarding this place in a different light. I doubt that though, as I'll freely admit there are bigger problems than you to be found here. You're not helping matters though (imho).

tbh just because flim is mod doesnt mean he cant say what he wishes, yes he does have to be civil and within the rules but he doesnt have to be the voice of FH. and tbh with all the ppl leaveing, why dont just do it with a c ya and be done with it ? tbh if u do wanna make a "we r leaveing" thread then obv will find some how says "its sad ur leaveing", and u will get the "dont let the door hit ya on the way out". and with the rep of SH (the we play the game how we want and we dont care what other ppl think) ppl rly shouldnt be allknowing to predict that some1 would be glad to get rid of em.
this still is a public forum and any1 (well most anyways) can post what they wish (within the CoC ofc)

I have responsibility for moderating these forums (according to the very loose rules that FH imposes... which seem to get looser every day on this particular RvR forum) but that doesn't mean I'm not entitled to an opinion. (as Trycorn kindly pointed out above)

And my opinion in this case is that the guilds leaving for the US servers and posting "look at me, sympathy please!" threads are acting not unlike little babies throwing their toys out of the pram.

And Flim, I dont read anywhere that Thornea was asking for "sympathy" for SH leaving, in fact it started out as a genuine "good bye to all in euro and heres the reasons why we are going...", no rattles went out of any pram so to speak, Thornea just said how he feels and didnt ask for anyones praise about it, heck the main reasons they have left is highlighted in the thread about TT and BF and I dont see you calling them all babies for saying their peice.

FH has grown into a place where everyone has a beef about other peoples playstyle, no two people here agree how to play this game, but generate their own "opinions" regarding adding, zerging, stealthing and greifing, at the end of the day we should all be entitield to do our own way of things, and not suffer other peoples rules. SH grew into a guild that played for fun, no rules other than to have a good laff, anyone who ever joined our vent would agree thats all we are out for. Those who could be arsed to get to know us past our characters had a great time, those who cant see past our toons just got sour, which is sad.

Someone explained this to me last night, I didnt realise you thought certain members were in some way racist... tbh I think its unfounded, the odd joke aside, I dont think the rest of us would put up with someone who is. If its who I think you mean, I hardly think he is, maybe he does make jokes, but I dont think hes out to harm anyone intentionally.
