nothing wrong whit alb.

its the zerg's thats might be a problem but thats not a alb only problem. thats everyone running in emain whit more then 8ppl.

kill alliances, 2 or 3 big ones would improve our comms a lot, instead of 50000 small ones, lots of hideous egos and hatred on our realm tho so it wont happen, however, all must be as it is intended as we (albion) are just like the country was b4 and after arthur united the place :)

King Arthur is dead. Merlin, gone. The knights of the round table, nowhere to be seen. The little warriors of Albion are in despair and do not know where to turn. We have lost our infamous tactics from the king himself and have been reduced to nothing more then resorting to the frontiers of our enemy's home frontiers to vanquish them from coming to ours and invading our land. So far that is working, however it is sad to see that we "zerg". New tactics will rise soon once again, however. What the warriors of Albion fail to know is that kning Arthur had offspring, that offspring vanished until he revealed himself, as me.

and with our activity in our own frontiers, we dont deserve relics.
we dont deserve nothing actually, only what we r needed is more players with brains, ability to listen, to do whats told, some thinking how to play online games, take head out of our own ass, play the game as team bigger that 1 fgp, 1 guild, 1 alliance.

but that will never happen, because then we might even win some battles more in rvr.

most of the time i look action of us, i just laugh and c how stupid peeps can really be when they dont use brains.

In game Reasons: fights, competition, RR10 urge..

Too little : lets do what that fighting zone is made for :)

get our relics, set up a shedule on guarding OUR fronteer. first... let's say that FC does what they do a lot ( verry clever): get eras or surs . Then get a guild to guard in their downtime and draw the field of battle in our fronteer for a change. :)
Everybody that will be logging in should be able to find a fast battle around our telekeep-zones :)

i haven't got the in-game contacts, nor reputation to try or be willing-to-try to get that spirit out there :) The spirit to conquer and guard.


gaaah, whatever, we'll see...

i'm off levelling :)

It all lies back in the future of our past ... erm ...

Hmm ... maybe the realm is in a bad state ... and maybe it won't change ... but atleast it will almost change. Yes. Almost. BECAUSE ...

On September, 9th this year a level 1 character coming from Camelot will enter Castle Sauvage, cross the yard and will disappear through the other gate into the woods only noticed by some very few people who will forget him a second later. Basically he will do that because he will be so new, that he won't even know that NEVER NEVER EVER one is supposed to leave CS through that gate. Good Albs leave CS via the telepad or through the gate leading back to Camelot Hills in case they wanna meet their trainer. Only rare exceptions are situations when someone needs to enter the Albion frontier to finish a part of an epic quest. Then he is even allowed to bring some friends. Then again ... LOL ... who would ever be so stupid to help someone with his/her epic when in the same time he could make 25 RPs in Emain.

But anyway ... so our little newbie heads into the deep woods and chances upon a stone in which a wonderful glowing sword is sticking. He finds this stone not far away from Castler Excalibur which was built to ... ummm ... I forgot the purpose of that keep, but I guess it's not important for this little tale anyway.
Being rather curious the little guy grabs the sword and ... whooops(!!!) ... drags it out of the stone. Whoa!

*at the same time, only 2 yards away from our little newbie*

2 FGs of Midstealthers, who try to proove that in ancient times Albs entered this forrest spot the little newbie. Honorable Mids that they are they of course decide not to zerg the poor fella but rather solo him with 16 people in the very same second. Yeah, bad luck. It is in this second that the sword begins to glow even brighter, the earth is shaking, thunder, lighting, fire, blood and numerous other shit is raining from the sky and another second later the confused newbie is surrounded by 16 dead Mids.

A knowing smile on his face the newbie suddenly EXACTLY knows what he has to do to bring fame and fortune upon Albion. 'In the weeks to come I will change the face of this server. I will ...'
'EY! you f*****g n00b! i saw what you got there you ****. u is nuffin. me from renowned 1337 guild. me high rr. we were here when u were even born. u deesrve shit notsword. now givfz sword u mupptet'.

Ack, stupid newbie indeed. He has the sword. He has the power and the knowledge, but he is silly enough to let a high RR player witness the incident.
Believing in the absolute leetness and uberness of the other guy our poor newbie hands the sword to the other player.

What happens to the sword after that lies in the dark. Either the player sells it for 55 plat to an unknown friend or he quits the game 1 week after he gets it. Either way ... the sword will vanish and will never be seen again.

People who try to investigate into it will be told from Mythic/GOA that the disappearing of the sword is certainly a feature and not a bug and that's pretty much it.

A last interesting point in all of this maybe is that no Hibs at all seem to be involved in the whole story. But that's only due to the fact that all this will happen at 10 in the evening. Hibs are so underpopulated that the only Hib will be online between 8pm and 9pm. And on this very day he decides to test the looks of several dyes thus missing all the strange stuff that's going on in Sauvage.

And so Albion will stay what it is now ... but ALMOST will change.


P.S. And no, I'm not going to tell anybody what I usually drink or smoke. :p

I would agree fewer alliances would be nice, and more willingness to defend the albion homeland when we do not have the relics, but we defended the relics well, till Ardamel arrived with his "tactics". There is no way one can defend against 200+ Mids at 9 am on a saturday.
So there is not much wrong with losing them in such a fashion, except it shows how the Mids like to play.
But it would be nice if Alb guilds claimed and upgraded keeps, and logged some lvl 50's inside. And were able to defend it.

What problem are we discussing here?

If anyone wants the relics back, orgainse a damn raid - it's not that hard. Just about everyone I know who has previously run a raid is bored of doing so after all the alarm clock nonsense of the last 5 months.

As for defence, I'm not sure what game you have been playing for the last year, but albs have not lost strength relics during the hours people are online for something approaching a year.

So our defence can't be that bad.

The thing that is most wrong with albion is the people who like to sit around whining because the realm does not jump to attention each evening and do whatever they specifically believe is the correct thing to be doing that evening.

Oh, can someone *please* explain how the hell a bigger alliance chat channel would help?

We can't have fewer unsuccessful primetime relic defences than zero, and relic raids do not use alliance channels for obvious reasons.
