RvR video from a Sorc perspective

Last week I used fraps a bit and although I got frame rates of around 10 fps while recording I did manage to extract a few half decent fights. The first fight is probably the best and some of you may have already downloaded it as I mentioned it in another thread.
However I also tried out Adobe Premiere and added a bit of music, a few more fights and some text.

Its mostly just a muck about video and as you might guess all the fights are from one night of rvr:

I might try and do a few more as its nice to watch a fight and learn from it, but the fps lag at times is quite annoying

good play hotrats, you're a good sorc, that fc grp is also very good together, had a killer fight you will prolly remember at breif tower that lasted forever :]

Is indeed best fc group (that is : teamwork of those 8 groupmembers working together) out there at the moment. Might even be even best Alb group.

hmm watch the video again and monitor my ae str/con button, I use it quite a lot. The graphic is quite hard to spot though, is a very faint purple compared to the dark purple it is in game.

stop wasting power on nuking, use more root/mezz

and more str/con debuff, like aussie said

As for rooting usually I root a lot more than I lifedrain, it depends on the situation, I think I rooted when necessary and lifedrained when I could. The green druid pet I could have rooted, but 4 lifetaps and its dead and takes only 5 seconds, better to kill it imo.

I dont think lifetapping is a waste of power, if we didnt have any adds my power would have been fine, I still had mcl and a power crystal. Also my next RA will be mcl2

Anyway good points, always nice to have some feedback.

P.S Xeanor you might wanna take a look at your RvR_footage_2003 video again, many times I would have debuffed and you didn't in that vid Like when a zerker is on you I cant beleive you didnt str/con and single str debuff him, same for that rr10 2hand hammer hib. Also vs the pbae hibs no dex/qui debuffs or dex debuffs on the casters. Oh and I think you nuked about as much as me in that video as well but who can blame us nuking is fun

Yes debuffing is tricky, especially vs hibs as it breaks mezz on pets, but then a sorc is tricky and thats why I love playing them

rofl and at rr5 you don't get debuffs and root etc?

I think I know what you mean though as in you need experience in rvr before you know what/when to root and what/when to debuff etc?

I think even I was hitting ae str/con debuff at rr5 though, especially on things hitting me. Now ofc its not just ae str/con its single str, single dex, dex/qui

Also I was playing on my dads cpu with a different keyboard, and the fps is a lot worse when recording so playing how I usually do is more difficult
