ive beat you .... twice ^^ an u beat me once :< was hacks to parrying first hit :< on like 40% before i landed a hit

Okay... Took some time now to do some theoretical research and the math. I assume a Mercenary will not swap the weapons in combat, cause he relies too much on the artifact charges / abilities.

My Armsman template allows me to use 1h weapon and a shield with celerity procs, can also use a Pole with a celerity proc w/o losing much utitliy.

So the math looks then like (for 250 quickness chars, and my Arms will have 250 quickness with some AugQui):

Armsman with 5.6 SPD weapon, 250 quickness, 17% haste, 10% ToA haste, 30% celerity -> 5.6 * 0,62 * 0.83 * 0.9 * 0.7 = 1,81

Merc with 4.1 SPD weapon, 250 quickness, 17% haste, 10% ToA haste, no celerity -> 4.1 * 0,62 * 0.83 * 0.9 * 1 = 1,89

So most of the time I should swing slightly faster than a Merc. Please correct me if any of my calculation is wrong.

Next would be to compare DW damage to Pole damage, will do it some other time.

No ;).

ToA + Haste + Celerity pwn... Most people don't know. Celerity is an offensive weapon proc.
