I know a few people from EE, so I've seen a few like this (when they've tried to 'set me up' etc.), and to be honest they all seem to not say what hobbies they have (a big indictation of compatibility), and this one seems a bit old (they generally look after university), so she may already have kids or something. Basically they look for a husband abroad because the quality of life is crap over there, and men tend to treat them very badly over there (cultural thing).

After my failed recent relationship I joined up with one, to meet new ppl to talk to really, which I have and have good chats with these ppl, wither it will lead to someting is unkown, but I have had a few messages from women from Romania and Russia, natural instinct is to ignore them, but you never know this women could be 'the one' just talk to her and get to know her a bit before making any decisions, chat on IM find out if she is sincere or just taking u for a ride.

At the end of the day if you do move forward with her and it doesnt work out, just look at it as a learning experince.

Agreed. Used some internet dating sites when I split from my missus, and it was fairly amusing and I had some OK dates, nothing serious, which is probably what I needed. I've got a new gf now (not from internet dating) but my profile is still on a couple of sites. Get loads of messages from from fat lasses and Russians, which are amusing (and from their photos some of these Russian women are FIT), but I wouldn't pursue it tbh because it doesn't seem 'real' somehow, and I tried a long distance relationship earlier this year which was far more trouble than it was worth.

Having said that, a mate of mine met a Romanian girl in a chat room and has ditched his wife and two kids for her (which was a MAJOR shock and I was pretty appalled at the time), so this stuff can happen if you want it to.
