All RPs do is give you RAs any idiot can run around with enough mates and zerg their way to rr6+ and emerge knowing jack shit about anything - you did it yourself with your Cleric - and dont try to say you didnt cos you did - I remember the nightly Emain zergs from APK to AMG and back again when Noita was in her 30's and you were certainly part of that crowd no matter how many pretensions you have now of being the holier-than-thou no add no zerg crusader. Wasnt always like that was it?

Sure, you may be experienced now - but that doesnt come from RPs it comes from playing a wide variety of toonz in a wide variety of circumstances and by learning from triumphs and mistakes in equal measure.

Some of the finest, most knowledgeable and most experienced players (experience meaning what to do and NOT to do in a wide variety of circumstances) I ever came across in Midgard were all under rr5. Take Bodond for example - best warrior in Midgard - only just got rr5 before I left the game but ALWAYS without fail in the right place at the right time doing the right thing.

Anyway shouldnt you be in Emain playing Counterstrike?

there area lot more mids on there than albs (no hibs?)
however if you took it to 300k it would be entierly albs
my conclusion, this is the result of mid having 4ish very active rvr guilds, compared to alb having maybe 2, and hib having.... well...

also more importantly bibi is still beating me in last weak rps! arrrrrgh

Posting stats on one server doesnt really prove anything to do with realms being overpowered or underpowered, it just means that those realms have good RvR guilds, taking a look at excal, you can see it is very different 13 hibs earnt over 200k (out of the 26 who did).

Stats can usally be twisted to show what ever side you want. From your figure i could quite legitamately say there are NO mids that got over 300 RP last week but 3 albs, are albs overpowered? its just me getting dumb numbers to do what i want

Aug healer with 2 insteans heal and damage shield.

Not tried with hunter but with some range shouldnt be to hard.
Sb is more gimped then god knowes what but if PA Cd lands he wins.

Duel says nothing .

All Zap is trying to say is this : "Duels prove nothing". He isnt defending savages. After all who would defend an overpowered mid class

Get a h2h savage to use kelgor's might then kelgor's wraith on you with the savage using dps shout+buffs from you and a shaman, then see how much damage a quad does from these styles xD

last time i looked you aint buffed in a standard duel. RvR and duels are 2 very different things

Yes they are but i want him to see what hibs/albs been on the end of lately.My savage soloed 3 albs in df with ease(yellow cons),2 infs and 1 minstrel, they wasn't stealthed and just went straight for me, i didn't have buffs either and killed all 3, if the savage uses positionals it's game over.That side chain stun kicks anything's ass with purge down, providing they land it of course ^^

Yes it hurts very much to be on the other side of a savage. Got a chanter that been raped more then once from savages. But mids would be stupid not to have savages in the group since they are the best we got atm for dmg dealing.

Yes true, i have played mid an awful lot too, the realm is really unbalanced(yes ok it has a few powerful classes, which hurts the realm overall) but the others really need to be looked at.Savages/Healers/Shamans/Spiritmasters is really all you see in emain now :/ though you can't blame mids i am sure albs would make groups strong like them with those classes.Too many classes in the game that aren't involved in rvr really now which really is destroying the enjoyment for everyone.(look at last week's rps for casters, it's terrible :/ )

Hm, ... the way I understood his post, he was saying is that rps and playing a lot in rvr (= increasing experience) are positively related - which is kinda what you are saying too, in a different way Personally, I doubt that you could get to rr6+ and NOT inrease your experience (i.e. getting better in what to do etc), even when zerging, but then I don't rvr much, so I might be wrong there <shrugs>.

Mind you, I don't equate experience and skill the first has more to do with practice, the second with some added factors, like reflex, improved anticipation, instincts etc (well, at least that's my view). But that would be another issue and I am not really competent to answer that, lol Just wanted to add my interpretation of the discussion

Buffed savage is an other story simple

Healers advange of buffs is lost same goes for thane. and skald with buffs is not the same as savage with buffs.

i've beaten savages in duels before (and when rr3 very nearly beat you, without dirt admitedly)
i do normaly get my arse whooped by savages, but depends purely on evade, sometimes they don't evade much and its lcose/i win, if they evade a lot, i'm toast

however duels are a bit different to rvr...., if i could be arsed i could probably kite a savage/merc using dd/snare/mez and kill em without actually hitting them... but thats not feasable in rvr

should admit at this point i didn't bother to read the post fader is replying too so don't know what context the duel thing was in

i played excal for a while, and i'll have you know that even zerging rps requires skill (ie how to farm the most rps

but any rvr expirence is going to help, the more you rvr the better you should get, although different people will improve and peak at different levels, and also in different things
i think i'm pretty good in grp rvr, but damned if i can do shit against stealthers, mainly because i very rarely fight them solo
