I was just reading the bbc transfer roumers section, and apperently real madrid are prepared to pay £150m + Robhinio + Ramos + Diarra.

Now as a man utd fan i dont want to see him go, but imo that deal would be just to good to turn down.

No thanks.

For starters the 3 players would not improve the team.

Ronaldo will go when SAF retires in 3 or 4 years time.

Chelsea would have won the league if players didn't go to AN imo.

Nothing to do with the yanks tbh, if SAF wants to sell they will sell.

People seem to think they know the inside out of the finances at Utd.

What??

Ramos is perhaps the most sought after defender in europe. If he was available tomorrow, every club in europe would be extremely interested and would be a perfect replacement for Ferdinand. Diarra has undoubted talent and is a much better player than both Carrick and Hargreaves although he has struggled at times at madrid, but no more so than Hargreaves struggled at times at Bayern Munich. As for Robinho, well, read my summary on the other thread.

Fair enough, you would rather keep Ronaldo but to say those 3 players would not improve uniteds team shows an ignorance for the spanish game.

Its all paper talk anyway, because there is no way Real Madrid would let those 3 players leave in order to sign Ronaldo, who isnt even the best player in the world. £150m?? If they offered Barca £100m for the best player in the world, Messi, Barca would snap their hands off.

LOL Vidic & Rio were part of the best defence in England & CL. So where exactly does Ramos fit in?

And also where exactly do you think Rio is going? when you say he is perfect replacement for him..

Robinho, nobody knows how he would do in our league.

Diarra, we have Hargreaves to do that job.

lol how can you say Rio is better than Ramos

Using England as an example of how good someone is, is not really smart all things considered?

England are crap, so what's your point?

You ask all the top pundits out there, Rio has been one of the best defenders in Europe this season.

I don't deny that at all, he is a good player
but he is by no means better than Ramos

They dont even play in the same position. Sergio Ramos is a right-back.

Not saying i know the In's and Outs but if the guy who owns your club decides to take that £100mil and stick it in his pocket fans and Furguson will have fuck all say.

United got close to £100m in Champions league TV money and Prize money. Would they have won it without Ronaldo? WHo knows, but the double Glazers arent daft and will not sell him for £100m in case it seriously dents their champions league defense next season.

So you would turn down £100 mil for him when he could have a shit season or could break his leg? Potential £100mil vs £100mil cash? I just think £100mil is too much to turn your nose up at.

Yeah because having 3 out of 4 teams in the semi finals of the champions league just shows how rubbish the prem is!

Sorry they may well be decent in Europe but that doesnt always mean they would do well in the prem. Leave the mass buying of "Carlos Kickabouts" to chelsea.

UTD have the best defence in Europe. Why on earth would they want to fiddle with that and then have to find a replacement for Ronaldo?
Its not as if they need the moeny anyway.

yeah, because Cesc has never talked about playing in spain :p

I actually like how honest Cesc is. He has said it will not be this year or next year it will likly be when his contract is up. But being honest and saying i want to end up in Spain is not bad.

Zz Look at the source of the gossip: Daily Express. If you read the BBC gossip columns the only ones that ever come true are ones quoted as "Various", which means its practically already happened or quotes from The Times, Telegraph, Independent, Gaurdian or Observer on Sunday. Honestly dont think United have ever sold anyone they didnt want to sell and they certainly wont sell Ronaldo untill he has won them another league or two and the CL again.

Chelsea's debt is 736m

Unless all the shit hits the fan at the same time - both clubs should be fine.

Chelsea are just lucky they have a VERY kind billionaire to give them interest-free loans.
