Planning to return to Hib after a looong holiday in alb, but was wondering if there are any role playing guilds around?

Yikes...

Ok i was trying to post that but forgot to log out Dorac :p

Anyway yes, used to be in hib aaaaaages ago with a warden called Siobhan if anyone remembers this far back! Since i got converted to RP on Pry, i was wondering if hib had anything like that at the moment?

And as far as i know there isn't an active RP guild on hib anymore. The Kindred used to RP but I haven't seen any of them about for ages. Come back though and try Hib again, would be great to catch up again :D

After a year and a half, the Kindred are still around ... though studies, jobs, and utter frustratration have thinned our ranks. Web pages at www.the-kindred.co.uk -- Talwraith, Ruddyn and Lark are the most likely officers to be online. Or just do a /who Kindred and ask someone if one's on.

Think Some of the old crew still plays.
Choper/Xelda is with me in DO.

Seen Dulak around also.

But about RP..
Its really frowned upon from the big RvR guilds tbh.
If you in CF /as chat they sometimes make fun of RPérs :(

Has a PM from Xanthian (VNG) that i should go RP in prydwen instead of playing Hib Excalibur :(
He is friend of Garax so you maybe should ask him if he knows any RP guilds here.

Garax! Enechanter! Great to see you are both still around! I'm remaking Siobhan who unfortunately had to be renamed. New char is Foteini so hopefully i will see you both there!

Everyone else, thank you for your replies! I will try to get in touch with the Kindred and see what happens!

RP guilds are few here in DAOC it seems, if you like to role play its a shitload better on Ultima Online, was in CO-GM of a big RP guild on Europa called Knights and Mages of Kha long ago, and it beats anything that ive seen here on DAOC by far.

try THE KINDRED - they have a rpg campaign atm afaik (Auscia is back for a bit i heard)

They are not that few. Jsut most of the go to alb and become knights or whatever :( Give more rolplayers in hibernia!

roleplaying doesnt seem to work in daoc

only thing SWG had going for it was the RP element

Nothing wrong will role play or role players, I role play my char, just really badly :D

As was mentioned, hunt the kindred down.
