Just watching them from the start again, the fight with Clubber at the end of #3 is awesome, and that closing picture of him and apollo in the ring is nice,

Yeah, best rocky movie, and best ending ever!!

The Rocky movies. Hmm. Lets see:

Opening titles. The name "Rocky" scrolls from right to left. (Cutting edge gfx)
Rocky fights and loses
Rocky struggles with self-doubt (and a touch of rheumatism)
Death of another mentor / wife etc
Rocky has visitations of his original trainer and Appollo Creed (they've made so many appearances they should be paying rent)
Something inside Rocky snaps (probably Sly's incontinence belt)
Cue obligatory training scene in meat factory with gimp in chicken outfit
The Big Fight
Against all odds Rocky wins (would you believe he could actually do it?)
Cue obligatory moral message to the kids
Rocky retires (again). End credits.

6th is okey.

I was really impressed by the build-up to the fight. Was a good ~60 mins of building up friendships/nice speeches etc. but as soon as the training began, it all seemed to push through way too quickly. The training & the fight amounted to about 30 mins and the ending didn't really answer any of the question's in the readers' mind.

Still, for a nostalgic fan, you'll want to see it as some point I Imagine.

There are decent copies! Dvd screener out a month ago :O
the one i downloaded was dvd quality of new rocky.. and i was pleasently suprised how good it was.. sure there could of been more "action fights" in it.. but i think considering his age he pulled it off and it is a film worth watching and it upto standards of most other rockys.

he has the new RAMBO out next year i hope thats as good as the other rambos also :)

We need a new batch of action heros
Sly is old and fat
Arnie is old and knackered
Steven Segal is old and fat
Jackie Chan is getting on now
TBH we need a new Arnie. Terminator (first movie) was class.

Wont happen. This aint the 80s and 90s anymore. Hollywood has moved away from action movies which is a shame tbh
