Wireplay kind of moved shop to Blueyonder, all the guys running it were snapped by so they could set up their own gaming service.

But you should stay here, we have a much better class of person here.;)

I sowwy, we all got our wires crossed ere. I know what you meant, but some 'people' in here would start getting on their high horses about that sorta thing sometimes as has been proved.

Isn't education great :D

nopeh, dat's what we are taught. Well in dis subject, i'm not a black and white subject man, meaning I don't like right or wrong subjects such as physics or 'maths'. That's why I on my 2nd year of communication studies, media etc. or v.interesting.

Even studying media and cultural studies nxt year, possibly.

Marxism is fantabulous. I love the theory that we're all pawn's in the capalist game and that we're all living in a constructed/false reality that is created by capatlists to keep us working and prevent a rebellion of the people. After all there is strength in mass' but knowledge is the real power. Tis all very interesting and something there's no right or wrong answer to, which means as long as you put forward some interesting words and theories you're bound to do well.

Yeh, but it's all crap init :)

Congealed lumps of Labour my arse. Marxism always read to me like something a Kevin the Teenager type would write about his parents controlling his life and not letting him express his true self (IE be allowed to sit in his bedroom all day wanking.) :)

Ooh, I feel so alientated from X and from Y. Mardy bastards.

And don't we normally decide that ppl are crackpots once their predictions have failed to come true and then forget about them ?
Inevitable revolution ? Don't see it.

Bastardised Hegel for kids who want to impress the student ladies with their radical consciences :D

Mind u. It's really easy to impress uni lecturers with any old crap essay about Marx :)

well...yea :/

it may have had an element of truth in times gone by, when manufacturing was the head stone of our economy and society was split into the prolatariats and the bourgousie (spelling unlikely to be right). Coz ppl would have all worked for capalists and been relatively unskilled in the majority I suspect. Today's largelly tertiary orientated society everyone has the right to an education and choose a career, perhaps even start their own business so the validity of marxism with us just slaving away for capalists i'm not sure holds it's ground anymore.

Tis a complicated theory and i'm gonna even pretend to be able to scratch at the surface.

Complicated but crap. Don't know why they don't just bin it.

Oh yeh I do. Because the education system is run by old-jumper wearing beardies who still get the Socialist Worker.

You sum it up beautifully Wij.

College's are also run by businessmen, who are stingy basts that park their red jag's right next to the entrance so they can get a quick get away in the afternoon, straight after lunch. Which is about when they finish these days.

While I'm on a roll. How many radical socialists actually work in factories ? None, they're all fucking students leeching off the REAL working class.

Right. I'm off to spend my hard-earned money on some consumerist Xmas pressies for ppl :D

Anyway, hello Stazbumpa. I'm Wpkenny's bird, I'm 23 on Jan 1st, I was born in Bognor, I'm now at Uni in Canterbury studying drama, I have an IQ of...

Fine. Fine. 36DD.

Really? Been invited to Mensa yet? :D

Anyway, I'm Stazbumpa, I was 26 last Sunday and I never went to Uni or anything and as a result I am possibly the biggest waste of space this side of Westminster.

Hello, how are you?

HOLLY SHIT! I think I might kind of know you...

I always thought WPKenny's pic on his avatar looked familiar, now I suspect you both stayed round my house for V2000 or V2001 or whichever one it was.

Chelmsford? Helen? Jeremy? Scummy house? Front room? In fact, didn't you come back for Helen's birthday and I gave you a lift to the pub?

Or am I just being a bit dim? :/

Erm:confused:

Last time I was in Essex it was around 1999. I stayed over with my "then" girlfriend's sister's student house.

The house was kinda scummy, but then aren't all student houses?

It wasn't for any of the V festival either.

Sorry to dissapoint you SomeGuy.

Just play the calming music, Wijlet. :D

To the beat of just one drum.
What might be right for you,
May not be right for some."
