Fucking planes, no backup whatsoever, you're strapped into a metal box full of fuel . some of it on fire in the engines and no ejection seats.
At least it was near the ground and it was quick, it's the 3minutes falling out of the sky that terrifies me.

shocking news isnt it.

I hope its just not only Ice Hockey teams show a mark of respect for them but all professional sporting teams this week, be it football, rugby, cricket.. whatever.

sporting rivalry is one thing, but when sport is good.. it brings people together in a common cause and celebration.

so lets all remember these guys and the joy they gave to their fans.

RIP peeps

pretty grim :(

read the article, this bit made me Oo a bit

In 1950, in the only accident in Russia comparable to the Lokomotiv crash, virtually the entire national hockey team died when its plane went down in a snowstorm as it approached the Sverdlovsk airport. The crash was covered up by the team’s manager, Vasiliy Stalin, the son of the dictator, who feared his father’s reaction. The younger Stalin immediately recruited a new team, and his father apparently never knew the difference.

So basically what you're saying is "Who gives a shit about a few hockey players when millions are dying in Africa!

There's compassion for you.

My post did say RIP.

And then, I extended my post to also show sympathy for the suffering of others than the guys in the OP. Dont be mad witchhunter.
