JL changed rugby forever, he was the first superstar and made people take notice who normally wouldn't of.

Truly gutted.

i read he died of a pulmonary embolism after a long haul flight .......

It felt like he is still more than death he was that awesome. Can't believe all that power was in a box :(

My dad absolutely loved to watch JL especially pre match Haka... He used to stand up and join in (with the grandkids)... Up until this morning I had avoided all the videos surrounding his death as I didn't want to reflect on my Dad doing the Haka... my dad would have jumped up and joined in with them.... Just think at the young age of 40 he inspired so many people, he was a terrifying opponent, but such a gentle man off the field (from all I have read). RIP
