Very sad, only 40 and once of the greatest ever rugby players. I knew he had kidney issues, even as a child, which made his achievements all the more remarkable.

My dad absolutely loved to watch JL especially pre match Haka... He used to stand up and join in (with the grandkids)... Up until this morning I had avoided all the videos surrounding his death as I didn't want to reflect on my Dad doing the Haka... my dad would have jumped up and joined in with them.... Just think at the young age of 40 he inspired so many people, he was a terrifying opponent, but such a gentle man off the field (from all I have read). RIP
