grrr... so normally i dont mind revolving doors, you push, you pass through, no problem..

not so the one at work... its automatic and possibly the most pointless thing ever... and i have also discovered a flaw... if you dont get in during the correct "sequence" of gaps, it stops and locks you inside!

so 10 minutes of being stuck in a revolving door with -4 degrees outside this morning did not amuse me!

eventually a kind passer by noticed my predicament and came and let me out, he then refused to share a lift with me because he thought it might also break...

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr WHY have revolving doors when you could just have, wait for it, a door! or an automatic door! why does it have to spin and make you walk like a penguin!?!?!

Revolving door is probably the most efficient way to handle traffic, IF people knew how to use them :p

the guy refusing to share a lift though, oddball.

The door usually stops(or slows down) if you nudge it, this is due to people getting mangled by a spinning door.

"Intelligent" elevators are fukin worse.

Whats the use of 6 elevators in your building if you have to fucking wait 5 minutes for one to come down while you see the other 5 are stopped in the same fuckin floor.

GRRRRR.!!!

im sure revolving doors can be efficient, just pissed off that theres no way for it to detect if someone is actually inside it though, i worked it out now, if you go in during wrong stage of spin without anyone behind you then you will get stuck as the damn thing only spins fully once, i realise my mistake was to stamp the snow of my shoes outside while the thing was spinning and then step in, meaning i it had already nearly finished its spin thus trapping me inside

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ah ok, it's the "energy efficient bollocks" spinning door.

For these things to work, it has to be either a push operated or everevolving :p

Roflving door fail!

hehe that did make me chuckle...mainly because it's the kind of thing that'd happen to me and it's nice to see it happening to some other poor sucker, could of been worse though (imagine how embarrassing it is when one gets ones pigtails shut in a door) :fluffle:

I thought this was going to be a rant about politicians being rewarded with lucrative positions in the private sector, and how such blatant self interest costs all of us dearly. I am disappoint.
