of course it's possible if they look at it as adding a house.

Hmm instead of statues, how about little plaques in their respective skill guild. That way they are given honor without it being gaudy.

Otherwise you will have people retiring left and right to get statues of themselves in the game. I of course would never do that. :D

*thinks a big statue of a highlander minstrel lass in the Academy would look good :p*

Something in comemoration of Jupitus would be cool yes, maybe an NPC in Camelot or something.

How you can suggest that we be forced to remember an egotistical, hot-headed arsehole is beyond me, however. Someone for whom roleplaying was just an excuse to play the game and who professed a hate against other Guilds, like SoTL etc. who were the only Guilds at the time who actively RvRed and were generally 100% better than him. I would still be a Templar, were it not for him.

I don't exactly have Mr Ethel Stain on my Xmas card list ... but telling someone to go die? Rather off that

Poor Lamont, he'll be so lost without being told what to think :(

Lamont is almost as bad. And no worry about him thinking about anything other than burning plats on powercrafting and shouting at Guild members, anyhow.

I used to have a log somewhere of Lamont complaining on the officers channel that people had the nerve to get upset when he shouted at them. He thought that was deeply unreasonable ;)

<chuckles>

The problem with the templars is they wrap to tight a leash round the people in the guild in my opinion, you question them and you are wrong in all their eyes. They give you a hard time and double cross you at any chance they can. Always is fun thou to get the behind the scenes look at what they really are like, they try to put on friendly, we are so great front when behind the scenes the truth is different.

Oh well.. That another one of them gone, few more need to go and maybe the guild will have more happy people in it. Hope that the people in it manage to scrape something together for themselfs as the officers dont do much for the guild anymore in my opinion.

And the moment Aeth gets a statue or anything to remember him by is the moment i either A) Quit the game. OR B) find i way to do what is best for it and deface it :)

hrr hrr, probably :)

Imo, someone that truly deserves some accknowlegdement (sp?) is Ziera, she came up with the idea and vision of PARP and saw to it that it came true and PARP have done a lot for Albion, probably a lot more than anyone on this server ever have done :) (with the help of others aswell of course)

/salutes Zizi the pioneer

Corranhorn. If you're going to spout crap at least make it true crap. Nobody double-crossed you and to be honest I think you got off remarkably lightly. And I'd submit that even when you were in the guild you knew very little of what the officers (or anyone else in the guild for that matter) was doing.
Not liking Aethelstan is your personal prerogative, telling lies about the guild is another.

He isn't telling lies, he is giving his opinions. It's understandable that you don't like them but that doesn't change the fact that they are his opinions.

Guys, please.......

This is not the right place for current and ex-Templars to wash their dirty laundry.

All people with high profiles necessarily have enemies as well as friends. It's just the way of the world..

What if someone had asked for a statue to Gideon... as the founder of the Servants of the Lake, the most feared rvr guild on the server?

Exactly.........

And Kyra, I think thats a great suggestion, a roll of honour for distingushed members of the class guilds.

I did it!

I used all the money in the albion retirementAndrelicdoors fund
and bought this nifty statue to honour our retired legends.

actually i think i deserve a statue, or at least having forest sauvage renamed as Forest Shaeffer <nods>

actually scrap that, you bastards would probably mispell it as Forest Schaefer anyway :(

I demand npc with random limerick generator :D

Anyway, ive already got my permanent reminder in game....the number of pm's i used to get saying 'Hey, i just killed a filidh, and it said Cernunnos take thee! How the fck did you get written into the game?!?!'

I shit you not with that one

That is obviously a great idea, let nobody tell you otherwise. It should be really big and straddle the entrance to LB, a bit like the Colossus at Rhodes.

I'm all for a Gideon shaped toilet brush holder in camelot public toilets :p

:)

Maybe they should just rename those NPCs in Humberton Castle -- you know the really loud and annoying ones who spend all their time arguing about what tactics to use in defence of the realm?
