heyyyyyy some of us know how to write properly stop confusing us with under 16s that think its cool. i cant read that short hand crap, it makes my brain hurt. would rather read chaucer thanks very much

Well, i tend to be pretty particular with my spelling and grammar, especially since english isn't my first language. I don't want my mad skillz to deteriorate to a state where i can only type in shorthand because i don't know any other way...

It's also a lot more enjoyable to read when it's properly punctuated, or at least some punctuation thrown in there somewhere.

I tend to be a bit of a grammar nazi in swedish too though :touch:

I dont see the point in shortening everything really, doesnt save you much time and i just cant take people that talk like that seriously. I wonder if people will actually grow out of writing like that because they will get so used to doing it that it will just stay like that or atleast make it worse, because if your not bothering to write correctly your not going to bother to spell correctly and obviously if your spelling it wrong all the time you will get used to it and every time you come to write that word you will be accustomed to spelling it wrong. Anyway my spelling and such isnt the best i know, but i try to keep it decent and obviously put more effort into it where it matters atleast.
