I've been cycling a bit lately because my nans area is full of fields and countrylanes, and its fucking agony. My legs are like jelly when I get off the bike and I'm on the verge of vomiting. I've done an hour a day for the past 3 days, but I'm struggling! Its nice when I'm actually on the bike though. I never drop out of 6th gear.

Try walking up stairs when you've just got off. It goes away after a month or so of cycling, but it is pretty tough going at first, till your body gets used to it. I used to eat two dinners when I got in, then went to bed.
