50 flex 42 shield 36 sr 16 parry or 50 flex 50 sr 23 shield and 17 parry
those 2 are the most viable non auto specs .

23 higer delve on a 30 sec timer liftapp is not whort 195 spec points witch leaves you at 6 parry not whort it imo
(20 parry) > (6 parry 23 higer delve on lifetapp) and get mof 1-2 as it helps alot on youre sr goodies

also consider everyone and there uncle purges your slam,

as much as i like slam atm i've gone for 50 flex/sr 23 shield 20 parry

Love it

50/42/36/?? is more wanted in groups though, yeah slam gets purges in a 1 vs 1 situation always, but its always handy for groups

Not everyone will purge your slam, and not purging slam means certain dead for most chars you fight

only get more parry if u are soloing. more SR is better cos of the little bit better aoe dd (less resist when popping stealthers) / lifetap, aaaaaaaaaand ur RR5 will hit more (and u won't need that much +SR in ur template to get 50 sr, [ur RR5 dmg caps at 50 sr]).
Ah, oki, thats not that much more, but still... every little adds to the dmg worth it imo -)

well, if they haven't got cold resist up from a bot! ;)

and yes, not every1 gonna purge your slam, + u should use Numb to force the guy to use purge, then after 10 sec, use slam -p.

Same as Elitestoner, I've tried every spec under the sun to stop myself sucking so much and I always go back to 50flex 42shield 36soul.

I still suck tho :]

I'd personally auto train and go 50 flex, 42 shield 41 SR 6 parry.

Soloers
I use lifetap after a hit or two lands on me, just to give me a boost and so hopefully if i'm going to die, its up in time to save me.
Dot i use straight away just for added dammage.
Depending on the class you can do a few things,
if they're out damaging me, i'd normally twist dps debuff and absorb debuff, so then you're hitting harder and they're hitting less.
I usually use absorb debuff and dammage add after i land a slam and start levi'ing. Remember to backup levi with indigo snake so that if you miss, you atleast get a little heal out of it hopefully.

Yes, the numb idea is a good one :D

In grp vs grp, sadly only our dd aoe interupts now (this is also really handy when you're fighting casters with brittles) if you're on the assist train, i'd use absorb debuff, and then use dot and lifetap to interupt.
If its a really caster heavy group, you could switch to a more interupt orientated setup and run aoe dd, and just run around madly interupting, although becareful you dont break mez/root on important targets if you do.
If you're playing defensive, dps debuff along with slams are always good ;)

The fabled reaver bomb is normally ML2, ML8, RR5, TWF. in that order, be careful about bombing in/near shrooms, or in twf or pbaoers! You're a bit vournrable(sp!) between ML8 and RR5 landing.

If you're losing you can always bainspike and demo (although I cant remember which timers what shares)

If i'm going to bomb, i try to land a slam or two before doing it so that if bomb dosnt kill them, i can finish off with levi after.
Team up with 3-4 other reavers for the ultimate bomb team :D:D (very good fun )

cant think of much else!

bit drunk but, still, I can write, sooo....

yeas, in soloing use the numb + levi, and if they purge then use slam.... if thye are stiilll living, then use viper+kingsnake, and look wots goin in. Viper combo is the Iwin stuff (once balth tought that I bombed him, but it was only a cobra proc... xD )

in group, yeah, interrupt as much as u can with aoe dd + lt and dot (last enemy if they are casting at yoooo, then dot and lt etc). Use mls for more interrupt (should I write down what? o0 )

I think, for bombing it's better if u hit ML9 first (for less dmg), then place twf, w8 a bit, then do ml8 + sq... and kill the rest + slam em in the twf. [imo it's not that big thing to be in a bomb group, cos of the opted groups, but stilll can be fun -) ] Yeah, I got killed loads of times between ml8 and sq (bd pet hit me, Brite LT-ed me, etc.... ><

well, use Demo vs Luon! He hates it xD And vs the stealthers at low rr (don't be afraid to push that button)

Aye I forgot the block/parry chains, both are awesome!
Although, I was fighting a skald, I was on 40% he was on 90%, stupid kite tactics, however, when he finally meleed, and I got the lifetap final style off. it was like, suddenly I was on 90% he was on 15%!
So he sos'ed :D
The proc was hella cool though :D

the bigger the shield, the more endurance slamming takes(and other, less used shield styles)... and by taking less end, it doesnt mean your blocking gets weaker.. against 1 opponent it doesn't matter at all, you have the same chances to block just as you would with a large shield. medium shield can block successfully up to 2 enemies at a time, while large shield grants you very good defense against 3 enemies.(considering they all attack you from the front which would be stupid, and happens 1 out of 100000 times, so ppl dont really count on this one, and get a small/medium shield, and enjoy the low fatigue costs as well.)

well, afaik the dragon shield (2.5 speed) took 15% endu from me when landing a succesfull slam, and the crafted small shield (2.8 ?) took 17%.
And yes, thats what Roope says.

50% dex 50% str.

ur style's proc dmg comes from your WS (ws*0.20 = levi's dd afaik)

I'm not sure about levi proc.
I always thought it was based on piety just like the lifetap and dot.
Although i cant say "you're wrong" because i've never been bothered to test it.

Your wrong. It is determined by WS, and factors of targets resists, other things like magic dmg from GoV, AT, Lgm debuffs & relics etc.

I'm currently 50/42/35/18. I don't value the extra dps add all that much, as I don't really need it, and at 35 you still get yellow auras.

Mind you, if you wanna go higher SR and lower parry then going 41 SR may be worthwhile in the long run as timers on lifetaps is once again broken in DR and it seems it's staying this way for a good time to come, an extra interupt for a group reaver is really nice.

As also said, numb, run thru levi, if they don't purge you get 1 levi atleast, if they do purge then they get levied 5 times 12s later when you slam them, however I tend to use my classes tools and use the parry chain if I'm parrying alot, an extra bleed and huge growth rates and a 9s stun at the end of the chain (no pun intended). The block chain is also really nice, and if you have atleast MoF2 you can guarantee the 44 spec spell on Cobra won't be resisted... <3 330 ish lifetap.

here is a Forum for reavers. http://www.drunkenfriar.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=5 Stupeh (the reaver tl) only post here, and there is his TL report, so u should read it and say if u would change it or not -).

and yep, only your WS, resist pierce (from AT, 5%), MoM (RA), Magic dmg bonus (CW, and GoV have it, total 7%), debuff (cold legendary, sorc's cold debuff), target's cold resist, and relic can help ur levi's dd. (tho not worth to spend points to MoM, and get CW only for it's magic dmg add imo)

and WP won't effect it, cos it can't crit ;< (tho there was a patch in usa when it procced... ^^).

same goes for indigo and cobra, but theese are spirit and not cold.

What race u started btw?

wadafak: just want to make things clear :E

Sorcs cold debuff doesnt work on players but does work in PvE.

This applies to all other casted resists. Levi also crited at the very start as you said, but it is 'possible' to hit 900, but thats dex5 str5 all relics and pierce etc.

Oh, and don't underestimate Parry, investing in it is definately worthit, my template has 18+17 (+18 when I ding w/ MoParry2), you gain access to some of the highest growth rate styles in the game when you parry more, also sometimes indigo-constrictor is nice, massive growth rate on constrictor, can't remember exact numbers but its something like 1.10. Also if you have an issue with deciding what shield to use, you can use ML7 large and s/c an MP buckler for slams with same stats (-the 10 AF(which is broken anyway)).

Do get WP1, it's like LW1 a must really, WP1 so your DoT, AoE/DD crit.

It should work. Well, it was working some patches ago...

constrictor have 1.15 growth rate. I have +11 parry in temp, and I like it, good for soloing.

AF bonus will be working in the next patches, not?

I remember in OF when my debuff critted too, was weird o0.
