it's a really simple and efficient way of giving someone a clue about how much they post here without having to mess around with too many demographic options :p

It remembers when you get just over 75% of your post typed out when you realise it's not funny, and delete the thing....... hence getting 76% through a post?

Damn i wish i had deleted this before posting it. :(

Where E(X) is the average number of posts per day, x is the number of posts and n is the number of days.

This equasion is .......uhhhhm....... bollocks.

The way you have written it means you must multiply x by E and the rest is just silly........

I think you meant:

A=B/C ........... Where A=Average posts per day B=Total number of posts and C=Total number of days registered. I learnt this in primary school...........

P.S It can also be expressed as Y=X/N if that helps to refer to your algebra text books.

E(x)=SUM(x)/n

I am assuming you mean the sum OF x and not sum of.......well nothing. Thus meaning SUM(x) is....... x. And so therefore N=1/E

:rolleyes: what does the world being round have to do with averages? ... the world could be a pentagon for all i care, (so yea it probibly is a bad example :p) im not asking for an explaination of how the average post count works i know all that. (yes even b 4 the last 20 explanations) im just saying ... you try n' post 3.76 posts every day. its not possible and so i dont see the need for it, thats all that "really bugs me" :(

You post 3 posts on one day, 4 the next day. Your average is 3.5 per day. Really don't see how you cannot understand this, or how you can think that it might be funny if you pretend that you cannot understand it. If you are really that bothered just make sure that you post the same number of posts everyday (0 is a good number) then it won't 'bug' you so much.

i just feel that, some days i post 10 times, some days i dont post at all some days i post 4 some 2 some 7. fine, i know how they work out the average, its not hard. but i still wonder why the hell i need 2 know that i post 3.76 posts a day or whatever it is now.

it really bugs me, THATS IT ... no hidden message, no jokes. its just something that bugs me, is that ok with you dill, or am i not allowed 2 be bugged by it? its got nothing to do with not understanding it.

lol the smartass was old.shotgunstow, an alb i believe (for his attempt at an algebra equasion wich was completely obsurd if you know about algebra)

And i don't take anything personal so no need to say it wasn't, I can take it ;)
