Raspberry Pi

Hi guys,

I want to purchase a Raspberry Pi Model B, then install XBMC on it. The plan is to plug in a wireless WiFi receiver, then grant it access to a folder on my PC which has all my films on.

Can anyone recommend a good site I can purchase this from? What I aim to do is (probably?) pretty simple, so I guess there are sites out there which sell all the parts you need.

I found a few on Amazon (have a prime account) but the cases seem a bit shit. I am happy to buy a decent case late on.

Oh can anyone confirm if a WiFi dongle will cause lag etc?

its usually better to stream via a wired connection than over wireless. Especially if its full HD content

Thanks guys will take a look. I've got a great buffalo wireless to wired hub which would have a stronger signal than the usual WiFi adapter so that may be a solution.

On phone so will check at home, but this is what I currently have connected wirelessly to my router.

Need to check if the connection between this and the router over wireless is faster than a regular usb wireless receiver
