Heretics focus is nasty if it gets high yea... but if you really let it get that high then its your own fault havent met a tic solo i couldnt kill yet so obviously there not that "OP" because i'm not even that good tbh

solo tics are quite fine, its when they act interruptbot in an albgroup with mages with superior ranges it get abit silly. The fact that you do need melee on it to interrupt back is the silly thing, just watch BDC's latest to see how a good tic is played to its real potential. Its extremely hard to kill a tic for mages. And for melee, well, just forget it

Funny how most albs actually dont realise how good tics actually are in groups. Toss away mincer and banelords, put in a tic and maybe a merc and mages and go rock'n'roll, aint that hard with albs crazy ranges. Hibs are pretty much forced to use bains to counter the rangeadvantage+tics interruptcapabilitys. Dno what mids can do really, guess BDs evens it out somewhat.

Might just be me, but if a tick just have a few toys up, i tend to try and run from them on my runie.. seems there is feck all for me to do against them.. the fights can be fun tho since they tend to be a little longer than the avarage nukenukenuke fight. They just allways end up with me lying dead on the floor somehow. Give RM's pets imo.. and throw in lifetap while we are at it.

Thing is tho, for dementia/ve split ticks are fairly easy.

[Edit: my real point is vamps have many viable specs and you can eaisly tailor a vamp to fight just about any other class, we're lucky - just think of some of the other classes where there is like only 1 or 2 viable specs]

Heritic can be very formidable for sure in 1 vs 1. Some of my best fights and hardest i had against heretics. remember an awesome fight against haxen that it felt both did everything there is to do( short of taking up our spare Apache helicopter and start nuking) But i think they are a nice class,,,its just that rr5 that can be a tad anoying at times
over and....ow yes...out.

Have to say that the easiest fights I have had has been against Heretics, and 1 of those Being RR9 or so, fought him twice and it wasent a challenge atall, was abit dissapointing.

thats wierd you being hero as well and all Have you fought haxen? or aourora( is she a tic..lol..not sure) or corran? None of them i would say are easy^^
But yeh i fought easy ones as well. But i thats not so strange...there are so manys pecs etc for a character and some gimp it against some clases and some strengthens it. Bot sure about the specs for the above tics i mentioned, but they seem to be hard for heroes

Whats abit op on heretic is the rr5, baod and DI on same char. 3 DI's in an alb kiting caster group and with baod and rr5 you have a really hard time to nuke the group down.

Well ofcourse I can't say that I have fought everyone (I don't solo that often on hero really), have fought one at DC couple of times :< don't remember name, but was all to easy really, and then I got one that started to shoot at me when I ran about close to Benowyc, Arw something But I remember that he was High RR, and well it was also all to easy, he just ran away from me after alittle while :<

Might have encountered Aurora also not all sure, but I have never met (Haxen or Corran) though.

No Tic so far has killed me though not saying that they couldent, but so far noone has.
