Random mp3 request/Baldurs Gate

I'll stick this here, because it kind of straddles games, music, technology, and my sad fixation with random pretty songs.

I really want the song that plays in the elfsong tavern in Baldurs Gate. I've tried googling, kazza'ing, and sucking it out of my PS2 CD with a straw, but nothing seems to work. The official website has some songs, but they're all some weird remixed stuff. Is there any way to chew this MP3 out of the game?

I've written to the offical site but these people always tend to ignore me. I think I give off an aura of crazy old cat lady.

Dunno if BG uses the same format as BG2, but if so then this handy music converter may be of some use.

I could possibly do it for you, would only be a mono recording of both channels. And i presume you are talking about the first of the 2 BG games on PS2?

Actually i could most likely extract the WMA it almost certainly is on my xbox disc.

I think i located the file amongst 500 odd files, im hoping its the file called elf.lmp otherwise im gonna be checking LOT of files.

'ooooooooooh OOOOOoooooooh ooooh aaaaahh ooooooooooh' sounds a bit like walking on hot coals, but yes, I think that's the one. Sung by an elven ghost or something. A lot of the songs in that game are lovely, but thats the one that really stood out.
