Fucking impossible to buy a graphics card these days. It's my son's birthday soon and the market is still totally fucked.
If you buy from komplett choose the card and when it comes in to stock they will send it .... I ordered a new pc that I specced and they built two weeks ago from Komplett with a low to mid level card 3060 (not Ti) I do not play any games that will need anything more than that for a few years and it arrived two days ago.

1st world problems, right there.

Have you tried a pony?

Have you seen how middle class his chequered short sleeve shirts are?

But yeah, it's pretty mental how much parents spend on kids generally, all pushed by computers/consoles.

That's an understatement. I've got GTX 980's in SLI. On eBay at the moment the same model is now being listed not far short of what I paid in 2015 :eek7:

Went for a blood test earlier today as I need to have one done every 2 months so I can take my medication. Ended up talking to the nurse doing the blood test about this cough I've had for a long time (it's lasted 2 months so far and it got worse after I had the covid vaccine jab). I had it checked out 3 weeks a go by someone else and it ended with not getting any treatment options, she didn't seem interested at all. I wanted to get more tests done while she was more into guessing what it could be. I even brought up having a chest x ray but she said "your lungs sound fine, throat looks clear so there's no point in giving you a dose of radiation". She even tried playing it off to be some kind of mental cough. Anyway fast forward to earlier today and the nurse looks at the report. Turns out she has lied on her report. She has said she offered me to have a chest x ray but I denied her request. What utter bollocks! So now I have to book another appointment to get it checked out again. It took 3 weeks to get an appointment the last time and 8 days just to have a simple blood test. I'm not happy.

I'm going to demand to see an actual doctor and not some practitioner who has learned how to use google. Stupid bitch she is.

Just to add I wouldn't be too bothered over a simple cough but I have spat out blood into the sink on 3 occasions so getting this checked out asap is important to me.

If she has lied on her report then I would report her for that. What else does she lie about?

I'd walk into A&E m8 and tell them you've just spat out blood again. Today.

Follow this: https://www.ombudsman.org.uk/sites/...raise_concerns_about_a_general_practice_0.pdf

1. Ask your GP for an email address and who to send formal complaints to.
2: Send the formal complaint, CC yourself. Explain the situation in it, how the report lied, who wrote the report (etc.) - Be as detailed as you can. Date/Times etc.
3: Give them several working days (Or whatever it is now) to come back with a response.. Make sure you have all of the responses in a single chain (Reason below)
4: Raise the issue with NHS England (NHS England » Complaining to NHS England) - Make sure the original complaint and any responses are included. If the GP wants a meeting make sure they keep things in writing. Verbal leads to "We didn't say this"

Managed to get an appointment with a doctor in a hour so hopefully more tests can be done/arranged.

This is a mad story, especially considering that there are adverts on tv specifically asking people to go to the doctors if they have a long term cough.

The doctor was much better than the other person, she asked more in depth questions and did a better examination. She also said my lungs sound clear and my throat looks fine too but she wants me to have a chest x ray.

I have to ring the x ray department tomorrow morning to get an appointment. Though it probably would have been quicker to walk into a&e in the first place.

At least you are being taken seriously now and things are going the right way, however slowly it may be.

One of the major flaws of the NHS is the complete lack of joined up working (a management issue).

A few years back I was going through various procedures and found that your GP just does not communicate with your specialist, both ways. A couple of times I had to get two blood tests done because results were not shared.

SIGH.

I've just learnt that jean size and waist size aren't the same thing.

Good news, I'm less fat than I thought I was.

I think it's an accountability thing too tbh.

Probably because the nhs database system turned out to be shite and they panned the thing. So everythings not joined up.

They spunked hundreds of millions on a consulting company over here before finally declaring it couldn't be done.

Then Estonia announced they had completed their national unified medical system and it cost a few million and could probably be ported to other countries

We like wanking money on overly complicated shit that doesn't work, it's one of the things we excel at. Look at HS2.
