We were just unlucky enough to be playing the home nation with a ref who maybe took some sort of hint that he should try to keep Portugal in the championship for as long as he can. Yep, it was definitely poor tactics by Sven. We did the same against France, someone should remind him that he's coaching England, not Italy. As far as I'm concerned though, and no one else will be able to change my opinion of this, we were robbed by the ref. I've watched enough games of football over the years to know a foul when I see one, and that was not a foul. The ref was much more to blame than any of our players or even Sven.

Italys second goal in 94th minute made it even better...if that game had ended 1-1 it wouldnt have been as much fun

This eurocup been really entertaining, with the exception of some teams. England is out now tho xD. But, Holland tried to defend 2-0, they failed. Italy tried to defend 1-0, they failed. Germany tried to defend 1-0, they failed. England tried to defend 1-0 twice, failed both times. And I love it.

Ermm, this isn't netball! You are allowed to make contact with other players you know. He did not push the goalkeeper, did not lean on the goalkeeper or forcibly stop him from reaching the ball. The only climbing that occurred was Big Bad Sol climbing all over John Terry to plant the ball firmly and legitimately in the net. The fact that the keeper didn't have the strength to get to the ball is his problem!

Disgraceful decision, but what happened, happened, so we move on.....
