I think it was more to do with him telling you about the update and the league. Mr Flibble is the FLF community liaison, agree he shouldnt post on every forum, but he shouldnt be flamed for posting this information on the forums. Have you guys ever seen a FLF Info page on BarrysWorld website? The only way of finding the BWFLF servers is to goto the halflife section and look through the mixture of Half-Life and its mods servers. This is the only information you'll see on it apart from the League. Give him some slack.

Posting about FLF in general like that is bad but posting about BarrysWorld FLF on the BarrysWorld forums deserves this?

Your quite right I did post it in 3 places on this forum. Seems to me that most people don't know what FLF is so posting is the best way to get it more attention. (btw thanks for bumping the thread with your spam/flames ) As you may know BW is going to go p2p at some stage and less well known mods will go down the pan. So excuse me if I pimp my mod a little.
