That's pretty much the long and the short of it, yes. Bigfoot warned me and I paid no attention, so I'm not blaming anyone but myself. I doubt I'd have been banned had this happened last week, but that's an entirely different kettle of fish that's been boiled enough lately.

Anyway, so it's goodbye from me and it's goodbye from him. It's been great and I am proud that I was part of this community. Hopefully it will get stronger and stronger in spite of any external changes, unfortunately it seems more than likely to be dying off. so after 3747 posts I log off for good and salute those who remain. This forum has provided me with huge entertainment, heated arguments, mindless banter, lost afternoons, and has helped me through various bad stages of my life, during which despite the fact I acted like a cunt towards all and sundry nobody particularly held it against me. Which was great.

Thanks to all the regs who have provided me with endless hours of entertainment, and to Ted and DBs for giving us all somewhere to waste away our days. BarrysWorld remains the main cause of a huge lack of productivity from workers all over the UK. I'll be still idling in #wij (as Reeves) and on the Q3 servers (also as Reeves).

So long and thanks for all the fish. And free bodhi, you know it makes sense.

Some people thought it wouldn't screw up the community, it would just get rid of the bad eggs.

Mank - you would have got suspended for what you posted if you had done it last week, or two weeks ago, or any time since Ted posted his update warning about things changing and fwiw I did edit one of your earlier posts in the thread to something a bit less abusive but as you just got worse after that I didn't have much choice. I cannot understand the logic of someone who on the one hand wants to help the community by sorting out a server for the game they like, but on the other hand is intentionally abusive so that they get banned from the forums - what purpose does it serve? I can understand that you were pissed off about bodhi having his account suspended but the fact is he deserved it for his post and despite his "justification" post that he wrote the fact is he again tonight decided to start posting abuse under another account, I guess we should have expected it from someone like him.

I hope you reconsider your decision mank as you will be missed if you decided to keep away, but if you don't then fairy snuff.
