Im still curious how your daoc account got hacked, because no one had your password. So only way they could have gotten in is if they had hacked goa, which tbh would be rather serious..

Well, like he said, if someone planted a trojan on his pc and was using a key thingy program (forgotten the name of it at this late hour) then they could get his password. God knows why anyone would go to such trouble to just to get his password is beyond me.

then that meant he was being little careless with his own pc as he had a trojan on his pc for some time. Because I doubt he got it and imediatly the trojan transferd his daoc key. Still it can happen, but as shy said stealing lvl 40 equipment and not deleting the chars is kinda weird.
So having a trojan on your pc and have so little damage done versus you is kinda weird and still doubt its true.

Hey! Dillinja, you're absolutely right. For the reason you mention above I think everyone should jump on the 'I hate Repent' bandwagon. FFS! get a grip. If you weren't such a BW tart, I doubt you'd be venting so much venom into this. I posted a GL message because I was in the same guild as Repent and happened to find him an OK chap.. and frankly I couldn't give a shite about what he has written on these forums. Also, having read most of his posts, I can't see what the fuss is about... I can't say that I've ever seen a post from him that was as 'under-the belt' as most of the replies he gets. Anyway, flame away if you want..

the person who would have done that would most likely crashed his whole pc along with it and deleted his SB. the equipment repent lost is most likely not so hard to get, if i would lose my armour (at lvl 46) and all the other stuff im using. I wont like it, but I can get all the stuff back within small amount off time. Ok i do need the help off friends as killing mobs with no armour is hard . But lvl 50 stuff, yes thats reasonable hard to get back.
Besides the trojan+key save must still be on his pc then.
