You can stick memory sticks of different size in an A7V266-E mobo can't you?

(I know, I know. I'm deaf, dumb and blind but I do play a mean pinball)

At a guess I'd say you could, yes. Just be sure be sure to install the largest module first.

That was my thought too but as my pc seems to be having some kind of fit at the moment I really wanted to be sure :)

Both of my motherboards have allowed me to run a 256 and 512 memory module with no problems.

well I'm having an amazing weekend so far as I had to re-install XP as it fucking died this morning and the last thing I wanted to do was break the damn beast again.

As I once managed to stick a RAM stick in the wrong way (was a squeeze but I managed to do it :p) you can imagine that I'm not exactly PC technician of the year!
