Tourin i didn't have the right weapons at the time,being a warden you was hard to kill yet was a good fight and you have to admit i did rather good

Yep your mate mezzed me and hit me and did a couple of DD's I made a mistake I'm told as the caster with me said he had mezzed you. I've never been with that guy before, I was soloing in Hadrians and he ran a troll into me.

So I was minus 400 HP before I started. It was a good fight I had to IP, but you both FA2'ed. Minstrel was going down as I still had FA2 left and he was a chunk or two lower than me.

Don't be a mana chanter or a nightshade. Sure if you want to be solo killer choose either. When 1.54 comes support classes will be in even shorter supply. Everyone makes either caster or shade/ranger. Show some imagination.

Nah it's your choice, chanters are great, especially if you want to deal damage.

be a warden, it's like taking your 2 lvl 50 alb chars and merging them into one gooey whole

Tourin earlier on in df those 2 albs who exped killed you(not that you need exp but the cost is a pain can be anyway if you are a crafter)was stupid of them to do so,i even told them to stop they didnt listen so i tried to kill the mob with you but sadly they killed you.Oh well you get some decent albs who understand and some who think exp deathing people is good,it's a shame though things like that happen.

P.S i don't want no crap from other people saying he was in a rvr zone he gets what coming,you may think that but i tend to think before killing a player or sparing them.

<cries> doubt anyone remembers but in june before i got my new computer i made a post asking what classes are most needed i was told warden ns or ... cant remember druid or bard maybe sooo i made a warden hated it cos everyone got mad when they died then made a ns.. now seems i just went for teh ubeh 1337 soloing selfish class oh well as for class yea do something original... if i was to make an alt (well level an alt) it'd have to be either a bard (heard mezz being nerfed badly or summin really dont read much about upcoming changes so dunno) a luri champ or a light specced eldritch or maybe a mentalist not sure bout whether id go for light or mana though

I noticed you didn't attack me Matt, Hillybilly and Ghosted carried on, although the cleric started fighting the mob.

Np at all, I'd gone down to the slope area solo and was trying to kill Succubus for diamond seals. I was 3-1 to Succubus red to me, the 1 was that I used FA2 on one, the other 2 I didnt need to.

I knew Albs were in DF and knew a gank would come, Hibs were at Legion and well the top decks were crowded so I went down.

About 2 weeks ago in DF 6 or 7 of us were at Hulks when we found Mysteh killed by a mob. Lochlyessa appeared solo, easy prey.... I didn't wish group to kill her, and we showed her were Mysteh was. She rezzed him and we ended up xping Hulks. After about 20-25 mins of xping with them at various mobs 20 Albs came and xp killed us while both of them were there.

I could have whined about it on the boards, but I didn't, however it has been noted for the future. I did note who laughed too.

Yesterday my lvl 20 hero was killed sitting at DF steps after fighting a familiar by a full group of Albs all probably 50. One hit, 530 damage from cleric Fiddlesticks, who then chose to spam kisses.

Later when solo in Odins I was attacked by two grey Mids. I chose to wave to em, until they stopped. 2 damage from a 2h dude, wish it was like that at 50.

The previous day a yellow to 50 caster called Aldaradon or similar chose not to kill the alt.

So, I know if things like that happen, controlling the dweebs is a problem.

If u gonna use the second account on same PC all u need is the CD key from second game nothing more.

Just goto daoc europe homepage and register a new account with the second cd key to get a user id and password for that account.

Then fire up game as normal and when u get to user id login screen enter the new id and password.

Just swap back and forward with the correct user id and password for which ever account u want to play

TBH no i dont think it makes any diff - it really doesnt make a diff if the game cd is loaded or not as the account is only tied to the registration of the cd key, for example my second game cd is still in the plastic wrapping it came in as i just needed the cd key that is printed on the back.

Are u sure your brother didnt register the game when he loaded it, i feel he or someone must have registered that cd key, it is the only answer, have u asked him if he did ?

Matt try this.

Fire up daoc and at first screen enter the new cd key number, as according to the manual it needs to verify the cd key and on further thought i did do this when starting second account.

Then continue to the user id screen and from there hit the new account button to take u to subscription and try again to register i think this will work

It's just the name i guess, happened to me too, so i put my dads name in the name slot with everything else the same (cc, address etc etc) And it made the account

Yeah it is as u say, i suggested that to matt, I went and tried to register an account myself again and got same as Matt, account already exists, i added an s to my surname and it let me proceed.

However it is rather strange as i did not have this problem when i set up my second account a while back, i used exactly the same name details then ?? - maybe they have changed something ??

actually out of interest as i am bored hehe i went and checked both my accounts and i did use exactly the same name on both, but although i used the same address on both i typed part of it in the additional address field on one and not the other.

So obviously it does an exact check on all the lines meaning u can just layout the details slightly different but with the same info to get round the problem

Dual Realming?

Can I just ask: What's the point?

In RvR nothing we do - no keeps we take, no battles we win or lose actually matter a damn in genuine gameplay terms. The only thing that makes RvR worthwhile is the rivalry between the 2 realms.

If someone has a character in 2 (or 3!!) of the realms on one server ... what is the point? There is no satisfaction in beating your enemies, as you will have enemies (sadly) in both realms.

Why should anyone trust you with information about relic raids? Legion hunts? If there was someone organising or involved in those things you didn't like you could just inform the opposition in the other realm.

You, of course, will say that you wouldn't do those things - but why should the dual realmer have the opportunity to even do that? And why should anyone trust a person who lies to GOA about their identity to create a second account?

There are enough servers now to create characters in other realms on other servers. If all you want is to create a different type of class/race/character ... go there and do it. Don't do it on the same server, it cheapens the game not just for you but for the rest of us too.

I think if u read my post above u will see i didnt lie about my idendity and used the same name and address on both accounts , plus i checked through right now before i opened second account and they said no problem long as u buy a second copy of game.

Also although i have 2 accounts i have 8 chars on hib pryd, i have not got any chars on on alb or mid on same server, but having said that, i really dont have a problem if someone wants to try another realm on same server to play with people they know or have met through playing the game.

Please note Matt... finding groups in Hibernia is rather hard below lvl 40 so I hope you like soloing
Only grouped 2 times in 37 lvls 1 time at the parth farm and another time in DF, but the people in Hibernia are much nicer then Albion people (atleast thats what I think) if you have a question about something you can just ask someone and you will get an answer, in Albion if you msg 10 lvl 50 people you will only get like 1 answer

Hope you will have a nice time in Hibernia though, hope to see you when I am back in Hibernia.

hey he's right, we cant trust people with 2 accounts.. but wait! I have no way of checking if you have a second account do I? OH NO! the only person I know has only 1 account is me, I can't trust anyone else as they might be spies!! I'll have to relic raid solo from now on, else other people might blab

if someone is honest about having 2 accounts on the same server their is no reason to not trust them, or atleast no more than there is to not trust anyone else.. also the fact they do not hide their dual accounting would seem to indicate they aren't doing it for spying purposes (not 100% true of course).


As for why you would dual realm? well personnally there are a number of people in both alb and mid whom I respect and would love to get the chance to rvr with and have some fun, this does not mean that from then on when I'm a hib I wouldn't still kill em on sight btw..

The only reason I wouldn't dual realm is that I simply haven't enough time to do it.. nor money for that matter
