You are all missing a big factor in all this. In Alb/Mid free levels are set at every 7 days and every 2 days in Hib.
Lets say you level from 45 to 46 with your free level, then you level from 46 to 47 in Albion by killing mobs (takes 1 day or less). Are you going to log out now for 6 days till your free level to 48 or do you continue to level to 47.9 in those 6 days? Maybe you go and play other characters while you wait....
I only have one character at the moment and i believe that i was better off levelling to level 47.9 in the 2 days to free level, rather than logging for 2 days and waiting. Depends on how efficient you want to be
