Queens Jubily weekend. Shall we cancel league for that weekend?

For what it's worth, I think the league is great, and my Clan does appreciate the work being done by the volunteers.

Participating in the League, gives us a major event to look forward to each week, and my members are queuing up to play. I wish they were that entusiatic about practice sessions!

The leagues are made up of 3 main divisions and currently I guess that most of the work is done by div1 players ? so they're getting more coverage, faster updating etc. Where it differs from say, a football league, is that most poeple aren't necessarily swayed toward the higher leagues but rather the ones they play in, so in this way it's natural to want their leagues to be figured in the reports / u[dates, etc (not condoning admin bashing there btw).
The lower leagues, by their nature, are more likely to contain newer players with less experience and less confidence on taking work currently being done by the ubermensch (IMHO).
However these leagues do have dedicated players, & dedicated to BWL, so instead of criticising either the odd poster or apathy of lower leagues (not that I'm saying this post was), why not put a bit of time in in trying to encourage these players to take a more active role as in the end, this will probably make your jobs easier and also people will have more of an idea what the workload is like.
I'm (probably !) not in a league clan at the moment. but when I was, I probably wouldn't have put myself forward to take on BWL roles as I didn't know what they'd be and I'd feel I probably wouldn't have enough experience... although I feel I could easily do admin / reporting (not that I'm saying admin roles are easy, before you start ), etc. if given the chance to see what they actually entailed and if I'd've known they needed doing.

That's what Vash pointed out, and indeed what I supported. Tis best if Div2 and 3 clans get involved. Most of the work is done by Div1 players, of non-league players, but there's no bias. It's done by when results come in, and who's available for them. We're ever trying to improve the quality of league to all clans, of which Div3 are the largest participants. But, it would benefit from Div 2 and 3 involvement, i'm sure.
